Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Shacklebolt Sighted? Empty Shacklebolt Sighted?

Post by James Roland Wed Apr 13, 2011 7:32 pm

The Daily Prophet has received information that Kingsley Shacklebolt was sighted at the village of Hogsmeade just yesterday. The accounts were given by at least three witnesses, whom wish to be unnamed in this report. All three of them were confident they had seen a man who looked almost completely like Shacklebolt near the Shrieking Shack. Though Daily Prophet investigators reported they had seen no sign of human presence at the Shack, the witnesses all were extremely confident of what they had seen.

For those of you who have been living in a hole for the past year, Shacklebolt was presumed dead around a year ago, when auror and ex-headmaster Vincent Majere dueled him at Hogwarts castle. Though his body was never found, his disappearance for at least a year has led many to believe that he did not survive the battle.

While it seems likely that he did die, I for one believe that Shacklebolt survived the battle and is alive. For a wizard as talented as Shacklebolt, hiding from the general populace is hardly a difficult thing, and reason no one has seen him for a year could be that the ministry has proclaimed him guilty of several crimes including corruption, though he has since been cleared of these crimes.

Could the sightings actually be true? Is Shacklebolt alive? Or is this merely a tale being told at Hogsmeade? We can only guess, and I'm sure we'll know the answer soon.
