Nice to See You Again

"It came from an anime show i used to watch when I was a little younger." she responded. She continued to draw the girl and was now moving onto the details on her face. Her eyes were open wide, as if he had attacked her for the blood even though he didn't. At first she was scared that he would kill her, but with time she got used to it. Yumi thought about what she had told him after he pulled back refusing to drink anymore of her blood. "I will protect you no matter what the danger... Zero." she had told him. "There, this one is done." she said, talking to herself as she put the final touches on the picture. She flipped to another page and began to draw what happened after the boy had bit the girl. As always she started by drawing him first and them detailing his face.

Yes, the more and more that Kendall watched her draw the picture, his disgust for the vampire culture was outweighed by the appeal of the picture. The boy's jaws, clamped on the girl's next... It was hot. There was no denying it. His eyes strayed from the page to look at Yumi, following the curve of her nose and chin, her eyelashes, her hair.

She said she was finished and he smiled reaching out and playfully twirling a strand of her hair to entertain himself. "It's a nice picture.... Seductive, you know?" He dropped his hand onto his knee, still looking at her as she began on the next drawing. "What made you draw that particular picture?"

Yumi laughed softly. "What's so seductive about a vampire biting an innocent girl? The blood that went everywhere because he can't control his instincts, that's not seductive." she said softly, still looking at the drawing, and not noticing Kendall twisting a strand of her hair. She was very concentrated on the picture. When he asked her what had made her draw that picture she thought about what had actually made her draw it. She didn't really know it had just popped up in her mind. "Not sure, really. Guess I just remembered the show and I wanted to draw them.." she said now drawing the girl. She was covering the bite marks on her neck with her hand. Yumi sighed, fipped her out of her face and continued to draw. Her hand was becoming tired but she continued to draw. She tucked her hair behind her ear and shook her hand. It had started to cramp up so she decided to take a break and put her her sketch pad down.

Kendall shrugged, watching her almost hungrily, like the vampire on the page she was drawing, hungry for girl... That Kendall could relate to. "Think about it... The one word that a vampire should know is... irresistible. It wouldn't matter if he loved her... He couldn't keep his jaws from clamping on her neck. And that in itself is a bit of a guilty pleasure, don't you think?" He chuckled, lightly realizing his dark thoughts were showing through.

He quickly sat up and shook his hair, reaching up to brush it self-consciously. He touched his cheeks and rubbed the muscles of his cheeks, relaxing them. He looked back at Yumi and smiled sweetly as she put her drawing pad aside. "Ah, no more art?" he said, fake pouting before smiling, a twinkle in his eye.

"But he did love her even though he never admitted it to her and he tried to lie to himself about his feeling too." she said even in an even softer voice. "But yeah, he couldn't control himself and he did find pleasure in drinking her blood, so much pleasure that he drank until she passed out." she laughed. The boy couldn't control himself and would never be able too. He was nothing more than a dirty vampire who would eventually lose himself without the girl. Who left with her older brother leaving him alone to fend for himself. "Yeah my hand was getting tired. So I have to let it rest." she said clenching and unclenching her hand to stop the cramp in it.

"See?" Kendall said smoothly. "Forbidden, impossible love. Stupid love. Ignorance. Temptation, lust, loss... Can't get more seductive than that, with the exception of adding fangs." He chuckled as though he was kidding, but he stood by his statements. Yeah they were stupid in their actions, didn't make it any less sexy in Kendall's mind. And he knew sexy.

She said her hand hurt and his eyes traveled down to her hand.He reached out and picked it up, resting it in his and rubbing the back of it with his thumb. He stared at her hand for a second, concentrating on rubbing it before slowly looking u at her, his eyes shining through his hair. He smiled a small, mysterious smile and aid in a low voice, "Better?"

"Well, I guess it is." she said smiling at him. She watched him take her hand and she didn't move or pull back. She lowered her head and hid her face in her hair so he wouldn't see her blush. She didn't know why she blushed but she couldn't help it. Her cheeks were burning and they turned a bright red as she kept her face hidden. "Yeah, my hand feels better now." she said softly. She looked at her hand in his and now she pulled it away. She put her hands on her face and tried to stopped blushing. Her cheeks stopped burning and she thought she had stopped blushing. She looked up at Kendall and smiled as if nothing had happened, her cheeks still a little pink. "Thanks."

Kendall smiled as she ducked her head, a mannerism he had noticed in pretty much all of the shy girls he had tried to seduce. He smiled, knowing that his trick had worked; he knew how to flatter the ladies. She finally raised her head and he saw the pink in her cheeks. She withdrew her hands and he released them as she tried to pat the color out of her cheeks.

"No problem, Miss Yumi," he said in a chivalrous voice, grinning widely. He yawned and stretched his arms, before dropping them, one of them coming around her shoulder. He did not do it in the cheesy way, because he did not even attempt to hide it. "So, madame, how are you on this fine evening?"

Yumi looked at Kendall and smiled, though she moved away a little from him as he put one of his arms around her. She felt her cheeks begin to burn again and she looked down hiding her face once again. She moved back closer to him, seeing as she couldn't help but get close to him. She looked and smiled at him again, her cheeks still bright red. "I'm fine. How are you?" she asked, laughing softly. She found it funny that they were saying this now after they had been there talking for a while now, though she knew why he was doing it. She leaned forward and grabbed her sketch pad from the table again. She opened it and flipped through it, studying all her drawings. She stared, for a long time, at the drawings of the vampire and girl, but then quickly turned to a blank page.

Kendall watched her struggle and toy with her own emotions, trying to decide what she should do, having to pick between what was safe and what felt good. She pushed herself away, butting distance between them, ensuring some level of boredom and security. She was quick to fold, however, and she scooted closer, and he dropped his hand to land on her shoulder, as though holding her there.

She grabbed her sketch pad and he softly rubbed her shoulder with his thumb, answering her question, "I am perfectly fine, m'dear." She paused on the picture of the vampire and he smirked as her eyes lingered, before finally turning the page. "See?" he asked. "Irresistible."
