Casidy smiled and took his hand " it was a a ceaser and a steak diane" she said and chukled as she lent over to kiss him gently " this is beautiful Clay " she said but paused and took a deep breath in " sorry some one was kicking again" she said softly to him as she rubbed her tummy gently. She took a sip of her fruit juice and sighed finding she loved the flavors she now tasted.

Clayton smiled "at least its something normal." he said kissing her. He picked up his glass of water and took a sip then set it down again. "she has to rest at some time," he whispered and kissed her hand. "I love you Cassidy," he whispered. He had never really been to a restraunt this fancy and he was stepping out of his boundaries for his wonderfully beautiful wife. She and their child would always have everything they needed and more. Even if he couldn’t be with them he would help them. “I want to take you to Australia. I have property there though it never gets used and even if we do go there after out Daughter is born we’d stay in a hotel.”

cassidy sat thinking about his offer to go to Australia and drank her water " I want to go with you because of the bad memories that are hear and I guess I could always port if Robert needs me " she said softly but then sighed though I dought it he hasn't called for me since finding out I was pregnant " she said and thought more " I will go with you Clay " she said taking his hand " I want to be where you are and I want to bring our daughter up safe " she held his hand.

"It wouldn't be for long. Just a week or two." Clayton whispered. she wanted to get away for bad memories and that’s just what he'd be doing while they where there. "I have been wanting to sell that property over there. Its not worth much since i haven't been there since I moved here and before that i was never at the house. that is if it could be called a house. Its more like a shack with a tin roof." he kissed here hand "every think will be okay where ever we go." He was pretty sure that his words where true. He wanted them to be true for Cassidy and their child.

Cassidy looked at him and smiled " sure I know that, I would be at your side nomatter what clay " she said and rubbed her tummy " we both will " she saw their food and smiled ltting go of his hand for a moment finding her apitite had returned and the smell was making her hungry . they placed it down and she began to eat smiling at him " so tell me more about this shack in autralia" she asked .

Clayton smiled seeing their food. "the only reason someone would buy the place is for the land. they would end up training the house down and rebuilding." Clayton said eating some of the salad that was placed in front of it. "its not far from where Delilah grew up. in fact its with in walking distance of the ranch that use to be her parents before they passed away." he took a sip of water and taking another bite of food. "its nothing special really. just a small piece of land that needs some tender love and care. It was inheritance.” he whispered the last part.

cassidy nodded " so why don't we fix it and make it our home from home some place we can bolt to when things get too bad here " she asked likeing the idea of a place only they knew of a place they could be them selves from time to time and do exactly what they wanted and when. She ate hungrily and felt glad once she had finshed the baby stayed quiet inside her casidy felt even she had enjoyed the food. She sat listening to him and smiled as he said it was not far from Dalilah's home.

"Though of course someone else now owns the ranch Delilah had grown up on. It was repossessed after her parents accident." he whispered, "after that i was all she had." he heard Cassidy suggest that they fixed it up, "no we can't fix it up. I haven't been there since I inherited it." He looked up at Cassidy laying his fork down, “Its not a place our child needs to be in ever.” his face was hard and his eyes where cold he was serious if he didn’t have to he wouldn’t even be going to Australia to sell it. “I wouldn’t even be taking you there if I didn’t feel it was necessary.” as he spoke he was remembering the day the police officer had come to the door telling him that his mother and father where dead. That his mother had killed him then herself.

cassidy saw the lok on his face and nodded it frigtened her some to see that look once again on the face of some one she cared about she ahd seen it on her fathers face when her mother disapeared and he could not accept she had left him and she touched his hand " ok if you don't want to then we don't have to" she said and tried to smile " please don't sorry about me or our daugter " she said smiling at him " you do what you have to clay".

Clayton saw the fear on her face and his face softened, "I’m sorry Cassidy." he whispered and kissed her hand again. "are you ready to go?" he asked "or do you want to get desert first?" he rubbed his thumb in circles on her hand. "I'll always worry about both of you," he whispered and kissed her hand again. "I love you." he whispered, "I just don't want to expose you to the pain that resides in that place." the memories keep flooding his mind. "Tomorrow will the 20th anniversary of the death of Delilah’s parents. she always starts acting funny or at least she did when i was there for her. Steven will be having problems with her." he whispered.
