The Wedding.

"it looks like it," Delilah whispered. she reconized how he had praposed from a book she had read. after she had finished that book she had told hm about it. at the time she had hoped he would have used on her but now she didn't care one bit.

Clayton slowly stood up and took her hand in his as he walked over to dylan steven and delilah. he looked at cassidy then back at the new family. he took a deep breath then sain, "Delilah, i'm sorry for hurting you. i should have never slept with you that night. i now relize i need to stop runing from my mistakes. cassidy helped me relize that, and i know now that if you had told me about Dylan i would have been there for him as a father but to me you'll always be my baby sister."

"i had my resons for not telling you. i couldn't let you hurt him or take him from me," she whispered, "your actons tought me a lot. thank you," she said and leaned toward steven after takeing dylan from his arms. she looked up at steven wondering if he had any thing to say.

Steven looked at them as they walked over he looked at cassidy more so like how could she be involved with him. But he was suprised at the aplogy " delilah you belive him he said softly holding her close to him his mind wondering if he was using cassidy.


Cassidy felt him take her hand in his and lead her over to steven and Delilah she stood listening " I think he means it deliah " she said looking at clayton , her hand queesing his slightly as she sighed and smiled again " I hope he does " she said sighed looking back at cyalton she could see a change he was clean shaven and his hair was brushed his clothes cleaner than they had been. she gently kissed his cheek and smiled to him.

"I can see it in his words and actions. not to menchion his eyes," Delilah said to steven quietly, " he propsed to cassidy with something i had read in a book and told him about. she has changed him." she kissed stevenn on the cheek.

Clayton put his arm around cassidey's waist smileing down at cassidy, "may i please be apart of your all's lives as you are apart of cassidey's?" he asked not really careing how they anwsered. he only cared about spending the rest of his life with cassidy.

Steven looked at Delilah and sighed "I guess if you say he has " he said and smiled at Cassidy " well nice job cassidy " he said and chuckled as she blushed at his comment.

Cassidy felt him slid his arm around her waist something made her want it there even after what he had said she smiled , moving closer she went on her tip toes. " yes i will " she whispered gently into his ear and kissed his cheek " you do know first shower we take this is going to wash off " she said holding up her hand with the drawn ring on.

Delilah smiled she had part of her old family back. the only part she'd ever get back. then she had her new family and nothing could make her happier. Dylan looked back and forth between every one confused. he motioned steven to move closer then whispered in his ear, "isn't that the guy mommy was scared off? whats going on?"

Clayton smiled and chuckled at cassidy's comment about the ring he had drawn on his finger, "then right after I'll re-draw it, and tomorrow I'll go buy you a real one," he said and kissed her on the cheek, "I'm sorry i didn't have one for today."

Cassidy looked at clayton and smiled even though they had had a rocky start and she felt it inside her a part of her telling her to not belive anything he said. Bue another part of her wanted nothing more than to give him everything she had slowly her arms moved to slide around him and hold his waist as she rested her head on his shoulder " I will hold you to that Clayton" she said smiling a little she still had that dought that he was only going threw the motions to get to Dalilah .

Steven looked at Dylan and smiled " yes he was, Dylan this is Clay the man who made you , he has found out what it means to find some one who makes you think diferantly and makes you want to be with them" he smild at Delilah and kissed her " just like i do with you mummy, so clay has with my freind Cassidy " he lent closer to him " hes in love with her" he smiled.

Delilah smiled at dylan and steven. "dylan remember when you asked to met your daddy?" she asked and he nodded "well steven is your new daddy but clay is you old daddy. " Dylan looked over at Clayton and looked at him. "I like steven," he whispered, "Steven's my new daddy but he's my old daddy." dylan said quietly still confused. "Clayton can just be a friend if you'd like," delilah whispered to him. "or possibly your honorary uncle."

Clayton watched the little boy in Delilahs arms. "hey dylan," he said quietly waving at him. he was still holding cassidy in his arms and didn't really care if dylan called him daddy or clay. he was happy now.

"it looks like I'll be helping you plan a wedding now," delilah said to cassidy.

Steven smiled at when she said he liked Steven over clay " Dylan i think that he could be an uncle " he said and looked at Dalilah he loved her and knew what she had gone threw ith him he saw a new strength in her and smiled .Laning over he whispered to her " new start in everything " he said and kissed her.

Cassidy blushed when Dalilah said she would have to help her plan her wedding " yeah, once i get the real thing " she said and wiggled her finger, her empty finger and looked at him still with her cheesk red " I don't even know where to start " she wished khaat, kate and Robert could be there to see her but things had not gone well and they ahd all been given the time off one reason steven , she ahd thought, had his wedding that day.

Delilah Smiled and kissed Steven, "a new life," she whispered then set dylan down. he was getting older and it was getting harder for her to hold him. then with the twins it made it harder. she held his hand as he stood between her and steven. Delilah got an idea as she herd Clayton and cassidy talking about the ring. she whispered into Steven's ear, "what about my moms ring? its up in our closet in a box under the old photo album in a small box."

Clayton smiled down at cassidy. "you'll have it soon. i promise." he whispered and kissed her on the forehead. "just a few days until i can go shopping for it."

Cassidy looked at him and nodded "I know clay " she said and looked at Dalilah and stephen " I guess the next thing for you two is your twins " she said smiling as she looked at Dalilah's rounded tummy she reatched out and tuched it smiling " amazing " she said softly.

Steven smiled down at Dalilah and Dylan ,John walked up behind them " hey dad , new mum 2 he chuckled " what you guys up to?" he asked placing his hand on Dalilahs shoulder .
