Rain, Rain Go Away.

it was rainning out side and Maya was trapped inside the cold, dark, and uncolorful castle. she sat on the stairs in the entrance hall wearing a lotard and sweat pants and her hair was up in a messy bun. her clothes where splatered with paint and ink from reliefe printing. she held a pincle in her hand and doodled in a drawing note book. she drew a man holding a little baby boy. these to appered in her art work a lot. they were ment to be her Brother and Father, but they died when she was three years old. she had been to little to remember what they looked like. this brought tears to her eyes as she drew and wished the rain would stop so she could go paint by the lake or practice her danceing.

Yumi walked around the castle, bored. She had nothing to do because it was raining. She had wanted to go to the Great lake. But now she was stuck inside and she was completely bored. She entered the entrance hall and saw a girl sitting there drawing. At first Yumi just stood where she was looking at the girl. She had the Hufflepuff ensigmeia on her clothes. Yumi thought Hufflepuffs weren't so bad, the only people she disliked were usually Gryffindors.

She walked toward the girl and sat down next to her. "Hi, what are you doing here, by yourself?" she asked the girl. She looked outside and saw it was still pouring. She sighed and turned her attention to the girl. She waited for a response.

"What dose it look like I'm doing?" Maya asked nastily not looking up at the girl who spoke to her. she keep adding detail to her picture then eventuly she dug in her knapsack for her colored penclis and she started to add color. she gabe the baby wispy blonde hair and the father hair that was just a few shades darker. they both got clear blue eyes and fair skin. she finaly looked up and sighed to see it was still rainning. "Dumb ass rain," she muttered under her breath.

Yumi looked at the girl and laughed."Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." she said half mockingly, half serious. She looked at the drawing and smiled. A man and a baby she thought wondering if the drawing had anything to do with her family members. Usually she couldn't care less, but there was something about that girl that made her care. She didn't get it , but she just cared.

She heard the girl mutter something, but didn't pay much attention. She just looked outside at the rain. "Why do you let rain ruin your day?' she asked looking at the girl again.

"Look out side," Maya said bitterly, "it took away all color and made me stay in this cold dark colorless place." she keep adding to the picture that had started as a doodle. she knew the girl was looking over her sholder and that was really desterbing. "could you not look over my sholder?" she asked putting the colored penciles back in her knapsack and her flute music fell out and she quickly picked it back up and put it back in her bag. then sat back looking back at her doodle.
