PERSONALITY: Maya loves the arts. She loves performing in front of people and shearing her emotions and opinions in her paintings drawings and writings. She can be very stubborn and hard headed, especially when she is annoyed. When she is annoyed she can get mad very easily and possibly attack the person who is bugging her. She is high strung and hyper-active. She loves pretty colors and music especially when creating it in her own way. She never wears matching socks and none of her shoe laces match as a way to add a little splash of color to every outfit. She loves her long hair and hates even terming it though she knows it has to be done every few months or so.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Maya was born to James and Mary Rose on March 17th. At the time Mary was 19 and James was 20. A year later they had a baby boy named Nathan. Maya had loved her father and brother and they all spent a lot of time together. They would go to the park or movies or plays or whatever Mary had planed for the day. At the age of three Maya lost her 23 year old Father and year old baby brother who where killed while on an outing to the park. She was raised by her mother who was an artist and taught Maya all about the arts. By the age of four Maya had fallen in love with the arts from all of the years of watching her mother work in her art studio, and never gave up on them no matter how hard they got and how short of time she was with her busy life full of lessons and muggle classes. At five years old she saw a flute in a store window and begged her mom to buy it for her and find some one to teach her how to play it. Mary also thought Maya how to play the piano. Every year or so Maya’s mom would buy her another instrument and find some one to teach her how to play it. By the time she was 10 she started to learn how to play to Oboe but ran short on time with her other lessons. When she was eleven she got the letter to Hogwarts and her mother took her shopping for everything she needed. Maya was excited to be closer to her father by going to the same school he had. Then she no longer had the time to begin on a new instruments so she stuck with the others.
At first after her father and brother died she was very up seat and lonely. She wouldn’t go any where with out her mother and she never wanted to leave her mum’s side. This is why she spent so much time in her moms art studio and why the two grew so close together. Then she had fallen in love with the arts and they took over her life. Mary thinks Maya used the arts to fill the void in her life that James and Nathans death left.
Hogwarts Years: Maya spent a lot of time out side alone painting and drawing. She played her music up in the towers late at night. She didn’t have many friends. She wasn’t really good in many classes though she is wonderful at defense the dark arts and transfiguration. She was quiet unless she was pissed off or annoyed by a person. She would write her mom every day and wait for the times she could go home.
