wow who are you ?

After falling asleep in the dull but dark Slytherin common room, Ethan decided to get up and start walking around. He still had some drousyness, but he felt he could just shake it off. He walked passed the hallways just ignoring whoever stepped in front of him. To Ethan walking around everywhere was boring as well, so he took out the book he was holding and started reading it as he was walking. He obviously wasn't paying attention since he's head was practically digged in the book, and bumped into a teen who apparently was in the same house as him. They both fell to the ground. "Hey watch it you...." Ethan paused and looked up at the beautiful face he had spotted. He knew he had to apologize and that wasn't something he did often. He grabbed her and lifted her back to normal. "I'm terribly sorry, it's all my fault I was busy reading. Hi, I'm Ethan" He gestured.

Shelby fell over when an other Slytherin ran into her. "You watch.. it..," she said at first mad then she just stared at him for a few minutes. as he helped her regain her balance she shook her head and looked at the ground where a few of her books had fallen. "no its okay," Shelby said "i wasn't watching where i was going. she bit her lip trying to figure out who exactly this guy was until he introduced him self. " well hello, Ethan," She said a shawl on her face but if you looked into her eyes you could tell she wasn't really mad at this guy. "I'm Shelby, Shelby Malfoy." she said her mouth twitching at the corners.

Ethan didn't know what to say, he was a bit flabergasted at the fact that she was a malfoy. I like idol there whole generation. But it's probably another common last name anyways. Ethan thought. Although he felt he needed to know. "So uhh, Shelby. Your father is Draco right ? or it's just common" Ethan asked. He didn't want her to feel like she only wanted to talk to her because she was a Malfoy. She tried to steer away from that direction as much as possible. So far this girl seemed real nice to Ethan, but where would this road take them ?

" I don't think Malfoy is that common," Shelby said, "I only know of two other Malfoy's in this school and they are my older siblings. So yes, Draco is my father." she was kind of up seat that he had to ask her. he was most definitely one of those who wanted to be a death eater and obsessed over her family or other families of Death Eaters. she bent over and picked up her books before looking back at Ethan, who hadn't said his last name so she wasn't sure what his background was.

By the look on her face to Ethan, Shelby seemed really tired from hearing that be repeated to her. I guess she isn't one who likes popularity. Ok now to change the subject Ethan thought. "I wish I had a popular name like that. Mine is just Thorn, nothing to it just one syllable. But Malfoy so unique, and it's not 'cause of your family's past. Soooooo what's your favorite thing to do" Ethan told her. While waiting for a reply he went down to pick up his book that had fallen to the floor. It seemed rather dusty due to the old patio that wason the ground.

Thorn, Thorn,' Shelby repeated in her head but she didn't recognized the name. this boy was obviously not a pure blood, but he knew enough about her family. she could tell in the way he talked it was like he was trying to hide the fact that he was actually very interested in her family. "yeah its just a name," she said nonchalantly, "and are my hobbies really any of your Business Mr. Thorn?" she asked. she didn't normally tell people that she actually had a brain and a heart. "and if it was wouldn't you think that they are the same as most other Slytherins?"

"Actually no, there's dumb slytherins who do certain things differently then...let's say the studious slytherins. Plus if I were to assume that, then that'd be assuming your just a part of a set, and that's completely rude. Especially since it's not true.....although I don't truly know you, you seem much more different" Eli told him. "Ya see I have many things in common with Slytherins, but there's plenty of them that are totally different" Ethan told her flashing his own vampire eyes. He didn't mind doing that because it seemed she wasn't afraid of anything. Unlike a gryffindor who would run and panic at the first sign of trouble.

Shelby eyed him for a minute then replied. "yes there are some pretty dumb slytherins out there." he was right she wasn't one of the dumb ones and she wasn't like most slytherins. "so what are your hobbies?" she asked a small smile appearing on her face. she had seen the look in his eye that indicated he was a vampire but wasn't going to say anything about it. she brushed some hair out of her face. holding the books she had to her chest she studied him and analyzed every little movement he made.

"Well since 1st grade in elementary school I've been bulliying. But it was up until my 5th year I realized to bully the appropreate people. But my most favorite hobby is reading, no matter what I always have a book next to me. How about you, do you like books, or is that a secret too" Ethan laughed. Wow it was like she didn't even recognize I was a vampire. No judgement, no nothing. Boy, what a surprise. You'd think karma would come and bite me in the ass but nope Ethan thought. He noticed on the walk over that his bookmark had fallen, although he was pissed he'd never just lose it.

"I guess that is for me to know and you to find out," Shelby said looking up at him through her eye lashes. she mentally debated whether she would tell him more about her self or not. " i was just going up to the library when you bumped into me," she said "do you want to come with me?" she had told him she did like books and reading with out being straight forward about it and it was the perfect test just to see how smart he was.
