Malowney felt free and happy. She looked around. Wow. It was amazing, being free. She looked around, wondering how she survived her Hogwarts years.
She'd been bullied dreadfully, for no reason whatsoever. Well, maybe a little problem, which was just physical and wasn't Malowney's fault.
She'd worn glasses during her first to sixth year, and mid-sixth year she'd been taken to receive contact lenses.
She had happily accepted them, and lucky lucky lucky, they stopped bullying her. Then the leader of the group of bullies needed glasses, so wore them. They were thick and plain.
The other bullies had just gone "Ew, yuck" and stopped being her friend. Then they were Malowney's friend. Malowney had been a bully!
She accepted bullying the girl (someone called Josephine? Well, her nickname was Jo). She had said "That'll teach you to stop going around bullying people with glasses" and she looked all cross and red and said "Well, you act so dumb and you don't know anything. I'm more clever so I have a right to bully you" then Malowney said "Well ha ha, the professors know and they're gonna give you a two-hour detention of cleaning". So ha ha to her. She had blamed it on poor Malowney.
But now she was 7 years free. Probably in Tinsworth, living with a dumb husband and some dumb children. Malowney laughed to herself.
Still giggling, Malowney remembered the fun she'd had with the girls. Playing games, laughing, chatting...she knew what Jo saw in them. But it was a fight fight fight fight fight for glasses.
