Roles
As a member of the Department for the Control and Regulation of Magical creatures there are several jobs that need to be done. All members of the department must actively engage themselves in these jobs.
- The Head or Deputy Head of the department must chair regular department meetings in which changes to laws, recent departmental processes or current jobs must be discussed.
- All members of the Department must attend all of these meetings, failure to attend three meetings in a row without any warning will result in expulsion from the department
- On occasion members of the Department will be called upon to aid in dangerous situations involving magical creatures, particularly where muggles are involved, if you are called upon to give assistance in these situations, you must attend unless you are medically unable to, failure to do so three times in a row may result in expulsion from the Department
- Members of the Department may be called upon at times to place votes on issues affecting the department, all members must attend these votes, in the event of a tie in votes the Head of Department will have the final say.
- Finally, in matters of Ministerial importance, members may be called to attend meetings involving other departments of the ministry, should this occur, all members of the Department for the Control and Regulation of Magical Creatures must attend these meetings. Failure to do so may have serious consequences.
