"That really is a disgusting thought, you know," Khaat agreed. "I have tried not to think of that either. I can't wrap my brain around Barker falling in love with anyone, or vice versa. It certainly would be possible that he enchanted her, but I don't really know. However, from what little Remus told me about the Greybacks are that the family is rather cruel and vicious. I can't imagine growing up in the environment. And I can't ever imagine Fenrir being my father. If Barker didn't enchant her, Naomi may have just been so darned desperate for anybody to be kind to her that she'd have fallen for any idiot that looked her way. I don't know. Either way, it s a sad situation where she is concerned.
"You want to know about the cologne? Well, that was, I think, done deliberately to unwind me. Remus only wore one cologne. It wasn't expensive, but as a kid, it always reminded me that Remus was near and reminded me how much he loved me. And it was the same Turkish cologne that Barker wore. Personally, I think he did it on purpose. I don't know how he found out, but I can't imagine it being accidental.
"I try not to think about him. And, yeah, I have nightmares, but they're not so much about him as they are about what he did. What about you?"
