Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

It was a shame the boy didn’t trust Ariel. Trust put people in good positions with the unknown. It’s when they didn’t trust that they became suspicious, that curiosity began to kill them. Ariel had a feel that if this boy were to pry, he too would fall victim to life’s cruellest fate: karma. Werewolves weren’t at all vicious if you played your cards right and found one with a human inside of it that didn’t want to hurt people. But they wanted blood. Like vampires they wanted blood. They wanted human flesh and they weren’t going to settle for anything else. Wolfsbane was the only thing that would stifle that. Ariel was always finding himself at the other end of an aggravated werewolf that had learned to brush off wolfsbane. Ariel was luck, really, that it was only a pup, one that didn’t like to hurt anyone but its father’s pack members.

“Outstanding,” Ariel drawled sarcastically. “Did you not take Astronomy when it was being run?” He put his glass down and picked up the clock face. Ariel looked at the lad in question who had now identified himself. Ariel pursed his lips. He’d have to return the gesture. “Ariel Damian Greyback,” he said slowly for both effect and his own benefit. Yes, that was what he was. He was God’s Lion Tamer with a damned surname thrown onto the end. How the Gods loved to toy with him. If the boy was smart, he’d put two and two together. If he wasn’t then well, it was a story to entertain Jack with.

Now Andrew could defintiely tell what this man was. Well for one, the very obvious sarcasm caught his eye which proved that the person had some kind of obvious irritation, as if Andrew were supposed to know from the start. Then there was the Siruius star which was considered a dog, a clock that pointed up to Siruis. It was unmistakeable that this man was a werewolf. How wonderful, he had already fought ghosts, dragons, vampires and the hell spawn but he hadn't fought wolves yet. Hopefully it wouldn't get to that point. "Didn't need to," he replied with a rather hint of sarcasm as well "it's just common knowledge really. We'd learn that stuff in the 3rd grade to be honest."

Now Andrew had the person's name. Ariel. Wasn't that a girl's name? From some story of a mermaid? If Andrew wanted to be an ass, he would've considered Ariel a mermaid, but Andrew had some manners at least. "So I take it your a werewolf?" Andrew stated, mostly as a matter-of-fact. It was truly a shot in the dark, but it seemed to be too obvious to not say it. Might as well say it and get the subtle humiliation out of the way now before things became too awkward.
