A Wedding

Varod gripped his hand over the ring protectively, smiling. Varod grinned at the mistake, taking in her radiance. All he heard was "you may now" before he was kissing her. He hadn't even given the priest a chance to finish. He kissed her again and again after the first time, his tongue darting in and out of her mouth. "I love you," he whispered in her ear, so no one else could hear.

Ash didn't really have time to prepare herself for what was to come. She just expected a small kiss on the lips, not one quite so...so romantic and breathtaking. She was responding to it knowing that it was as all possessing over her as he could be and she was breathing a little heavy after it ended. She smiled up at him as he whispered in her ear and replied, "I love you too. Lets get out of here ok? We should just celebrate this alone if thats ok with you." she finished as they started walking back up the aisle and knew they still had to do whatever they needed to make their marriage legal and they would hurry up and do that.

Varod nodded almost imperceptibly. "Yes my love. All alone." He winked and pulled her down the aisle, smiling at all the guests. "So, what no? Do we have to sign any papers or anything?"

"Varod, you are truly a remarkable idiot," Anti said from behind him, laughing in his white monkey suit, the absolute opposite of Varod's.

"Piss off Anti. We've got to go celebrate."

"No, don't mind me. I'll just be watching inside your head."

"To hell you are."

With a laugh, Anti disappeared.

Ash looked back at Anti and listened to their conversation but as Anti disappeared she asked, "Why is Varod an idiot?" she looked at her now husband, it was now just a few minutes after midnight and the snow was falling on the ground as they went and signed all the documents. "What did he mean by you being an idiot? Is it because we got married?" she asked biting her lip, "Does he not want us together?"

Varod signed all the papers quickly.

"No, baby, he was talking about the fact I didn't know anything about weddings," Varod said reassuringly and with an amazing amount of love in his voice. "How'd you like the vows? I loved yours."

He took her hand and pulled her towards their limo. It was THEIRS and not a rental as he pulled her into the backseat. The chauffeur, who was only getting a one time deal as this was a special occasions only limo, began to take them home.

"A limo?" she asked with a look of surprise. "Where are we going for our honeymoon or are you too greedy that you have to keep me locked away in the bedroom?" she asked with a smirk. "And I thought yours were better than mine love." she said feeling sheepishly. She really felt that his were better and she could have done a much better job but she froze up repeating them and had to start to make them up off the top of her head.

Varod chuckled. "I need to buy the plane tickets then we go to the airport. It's a surprise where we are going." He had booked two tickets to a temple, high in the mountains of Japan that had been lost to the world for ages up until a few weeks ago. The tickets were almost impossible to get, but he haggled the man down to a price and paid it in gold. It was going to be paper-walled and all. Serenity of the finest quality, with couples being treated like royalty. At least, that was the monks religion that lived there. The gift of life should be cherished and pampered, even when it's in the womb.

In other words: Best. Honeymoon. Ever.

"Awww." she said pouting. "I want to know where we are going. Did you pack our things? Do we need to go home and get them together or are we heading straight for the airport, You know I could have apparated us if you would just tell me where to take us." she said looking at him, but he more than likely didn't want her to have any strain on her body whatso ever. She knew what he was like now that she was pregnant, but she still felt like it got a little old being treated like a porcelain doll all the time.

"I have a few things I need to grab plus the tickets, but nothing major. All of the clothes we'll need for the next week are in the trunk of the limo. And no no, it's gotta be a surprise! Once we start to land I'm going to blindfold you until we get to where we are going!"

He chuckled and kissed her as he ran into the house, grabbed the tickets and a few books to read for the flight and hopped into the back of the limo.

"That's it!"

She kissed him back and before she even had time to run inside to change and get something to drink he was back out. "I hope you don't expect me to fly the whole way there in this on the plane." she said looking at him. "Its really tight on my stomach." she added pouting a little. "Please tell me you have all our stuff that we need and I can change on the way there. I don't want to be stuck in this dress. I wore it beause you were wearing a suit darling husband." she said kissing him hard.
