Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

A Mental Frustration Empty A Mental Frustration

Post by Helena Villar Sun Nov 28, 2010 4:16 pm

Helena sat on the long, stretched couch across from the fireplace silently. The room was dim, and everything was motionless. Helena sighed as she yawned, pulling out a small journal and a quill. There was an ink tablet beside her on the small table. Dipping the tip of the quill in, she then began to write. She was only writing down notes for school. She didn't dare keep a diary for herself; it was the easiest way to let secrets spill. It was also the easiest way for others to find out your secrets.

After finishing down her class notes and such, she blew onto the paper to allow the ink to dry faster. She then closed her book shut. Everything was incredibly quiet. It was strange, especially for today. It was the weekened, and people were usually walking around by now. She hasn't seen a single face since she woke up. For her it was quite lonesome.

Getting up from the couch, she walked over to the side of the room, by the exit. She would leave to head out into some sunlight soon. It was getting too gloomy for her taste; it was frustraiting. her. She just wanted to see if she could find a familiar face first, before leaving.

A Mental Frustration Empty Re: A Mental Frustration

Post by Rebecca Mulloy Sun Dec 05, 2010 6:20 pm

Rebecca dragged her feet up the stairwell in a nonchalant way. Though, having missed breakfast that morning because she was too busy applying her makeup, she was quite cranky. It was the weekend, one of the best excuses for slacking off in your schoolwork, she had no plans, except maybe some shopping with Suz but that was the "Sunday Norm." To be completely honest, Becca was getting a little tired of doing the same things with the same people all the time; Suz didn't like change, but change is what Becca strives for. Suzannah was also one of the girliest, preppiest girls she knew, which, of course, had transformed Rebecca into a complete ice princess. All things fluffy and pink were nice... in small doses- but wherever Suzannah went, she shone with glitter and sparkles. She often made that effect to draw attention to her- mostly the boys. Rebecca was shy, and didn't exactly "milk the moment" when so many men would stare at her, it only made her self-conscious and even more clumsy than she already was. The two couldn't be any more different, but they were the best of friends.

As Becca reached the stairs, after what seemed a lifetime, she noticed that the common room was much quieter than usual. It didn't really bother her, she liked being alone sometimes, it made her mind clear. She walked over to the table by the announcements board and took a seat in one of it's matching wooden chairs. Becca leaned over toward the nearby bookshelf and grabbed a book that she had stashed there at the beginning of the year. She stroked the front cover, it was a medley of all of her favorite stories, including Edgar Allen Poe's "The Cask of Amontillado." As she read it for perhaps the fourteenth time, Rebecca heard a slight movement near the front door. She looked over to see who it was, seeing a thin, pale girl with short, black hair. Curves hugged the girls body, mainly around her chest, which was her only feature that had made her less "pixie-like." The girl reminded Becca of a character in one of her favorite books, Alice from Twilight, perhaps. The only difference was that the girl wore unnatural makeup and too much black. She seemed like one of those girls who would hate you if you wore anything floral and pink, which made her less likable.

However, Becca decided to flash the girl a smile, "Hello, quiet day, no?" She said with a slight chuckle.

Faylen walked boredly down the halls of the dungeons slowly approaching the entrance to the Sltyherin Common Room. He said the password and walked in his dark blue eyes scanned the room. He could see two girls were there, one was writing it seemed to be while the other looked to have just walked in but he could have been wrong. Sighing he walked over to a leather chair and flopped down with out saying a word to niether girl. He didnt know niether of them so what was he suppose to say?
