Bored in the night

Faylen walked boredly into the Trophy room and sighed. He was a bit tired as usual but more awake and alert then normally. His eyes yet were still the dark gloomy blue not that they would ever change back to their oringial light blue. He was standing in the same spot he had met the beaubaxton girl, whom in turn was a bit odd. Though she probably thought the same about himself but that didnt bother him, nothing did really. He hadnt dared gone back to his old empty classroom as that vampire girl might still be useing it. Oh well, he had plently of other places to go and think at. He went to a corner where it was darkest and blended in, someone was bond to come through.

Topher was in the mood to explore the grounds. He always was in the mood, and seemed to always find himself in places that were either unoccupied due to people forgetting they existed, or because it was forbidden to go into them. As he strolled around the castle, he noticed that the door to the Trophy Room was cracked open; it was never cracked open at this hour of night. Of course, the curiosity got to him, and he had to take a peek, just to see what was up. Maybe, just maybe someone was in there doing something they were not supposed to, or just snooping as he himself was.
As he peeked into the room, he could not really see much, except for the glint off of the trophies. He took a step into the room, and notice the silhouette of a person in the corner of the room. "What are you doing out of the dorms so late?" Topher asked, ever curious.

Faylen knew it, he just knew someone would come and interupt his thinking. He sighed and stepped out of the shadows and opened his eyes tiredly staring at the boy whom in turn shouldnt be here as well. "I might as well ask you the same question." He said with a growl. He could tell this wasnt going to be pleasant but maybe some one would learn to not butt into his bussiness, if he wanted to walked around the castle late at night like this he had every right too. He kept his hand near his wand just in case the other boy wanted to start something but kept a casul like stance to himself.

Topher saw the boys hand shift toward his wand. He too, decided he would pull his wand out. "Well, I always wonder around the grounds at night, it is like, my hobby." He said with a friendly chuckle. "Now then, how about you tell me what you are doing?" Topher asked, trying to be friendly...trying.

Faylen kepted his wand away but was able to snagged it out quite quickly if need be. "I never sleep at night." He said in a deep voice giving the boy a rude look. He couldnt help it though, He was always rude and not very nice towards other even if they deserved kindness of some sort. Perhaps this boy would learn quite fast that Faylen wasnt the type that tended to talk.

"Well, you certainly do not have to act so offended all of the time," Topher replied with a cool aura about it. He could not understand why this boy was being so rude to him, what had Topher done to deserve this treatment? But he wouldn't let it get to him, he would be the better man, shut him down with kindness. "What's your name anyways?"

Faylen wondered how the boy thought he was offended, nothing in his voice annoucned it. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling knowing the boy would ask more questions. He looked back down at the boy and spoke "Faylen Dark Shadows, and you are?" He said throwing the question back at the boy not being rude about it this time.

"Now there is a happy tone!" Topher replied with a chuckle. "I am Christopher Eugene Stockley, call me Topher," he said putting his hand out to shake. He wondered if this, Faylen, was up to no good or something, the way he was so rude when Topher first walked into the room.

Faylen rolled his eyes, he hadnt ment it to be happy. He took Topher's hand and shook it and let go. "Nice to met you Topher." he said showing no emotion that he ment it or not. He wondered what he were to do after Topher and him spoke some more knowing Topher will continue talking to him or a while possibly.

"So..." Topher began, "what do you do for hobbies?" He wasn't trying to pester Faylen, he was only trying make friends with the boy. That's how Topher was, always trying to make friends. He was however, in the mood for a bit of mischief.
