What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Welcome to Gateway City, a great civilization founded by the famed explorer Paul Pinciotti in 1860. By the early 1900s the city was booming with life, everyone lived happy lives. But things changed in 1904 when a human wondered into town that was very different from the others. On the outside he appeared perfectly normal save for a few scrapes and bruises, but he was far from it. This individual possessed incredible powers like never seen before. Scientists were baffled and confused so they did what came naturally, they took him in for studying. What they found out was this man had an extra gene, one that granted him his abilities. With this knowledge they assumed that more people like him were out there in the world… and they were right.

With time, more and more of these special individuals began to appear eventually gaining the name of metahuman. But like always, humans fear what they do not understand. These two species would go on to coexist with trials and tribulations. There were those that decided to use their abilities to better mankind, and others that saw to destroy it. Good and evil rose, battled, died countless times with humans stuck in the middle. The year is now 2010 and Gateway City has a larger number of super beings than ever before. The old struggle of good and evil still wages on. The question is which side are you on?
