A Demon Meeting

Niov stalked back and forth, pacing in the place the demons most often frequented, right near the demonic portal that had brought them to this damned demention, this pathetic world. Her demon hound Defres sat erect as a statue, panting as blood dripped from his teeth. He could sense his master's excitement.

She gnawed on her yellowed talons, her forked tongue flicking out between her fanged teeth. She flicked one eye closed and then the other, impatience rising in her. She finally had news to bring the others. Her lowly rank would mean nothing if she could do this little thing.

It was strange how the stupid little human had given her this idea. Niov had known of the silly factions of this world, but it had taken the human's words of learning from the demons to make her realize how she could exploit the stupidity of the humans and make them self destruct.

She just needed the help of the others...
