How the application process works - ie. what to do and what the admins do .

1. Copy the code and paste it into a new topic in this subforum.
   
2. Title your topic Surname, Firstname e.g. Krum, Elijah.
   
3. Post your topic, adding 'not done' or words to that effect in the thread description if it's unfinished.
   
4. An admin will reply. If your application is fine, you will be sorted and you can go roleplay. If not, they will suggest improvements and you will have two weeks to make any changes.
   
5. Applications left for two weeks without any edits made, or still marked 'not done' will be moved to the Character Graveyard forum.
   

If you wish to apply for a canon character, check the list here. You may not create your own canon characters or choose to be related to whoever you want - either pick someone off the list or create an original character.

Check out the Character Bans and Wanted Character sections before starting your application.

Please make it easier for other members to find you. Do not add middle initials to your user name or use a name in the title of your app this is not what you want players to call your character. If you want your character to go by a nickname, then make that your user name and the name you list in the title of your application as well.

PATRONUS: His uncle taking him to Diagon Alley for the first time.

DEMENTOR: Being chased down the road by a squirrel, being chased by a cat, being chased by a dog.  Then, once they had stopped, a bird pooped on his head, and his sister made fun of him about it for years.

MIRROR OF ERISED: Finding a cure for his uncle's violent OCD.

PERSONALITY: He is quite shy, and doesn't have many friends.  He fears being too clingy and having them leave him, so he usually deliberately stays away from them sometimes so that they won't think he's annoying.  He enjoys studying and watching the Quidditch, despite the fact he can't play to save his life.  He leaves the conversation whenever someone talks about animals.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Before he was 11, Apollo used to get into a lot of fights with his parents.  From a  young age he had doubted the existence of God, and after voicing this opinion when he was seven, his parents yelled at him a lot and put his little sister before him.  His little sister would then take advantage of the favouritism and bully Apollo a lot without ever getting into trouble.  Apollo would get very upset about this, triggering the underage magic.  He had been taken to two therapists and had been blessed in church at least seven times to be 'rid of the demons inside'.  When his Hogwarts letter came, all of his family was disgusted from 'Satanic Witchcraft', but his uncle understood and helped Apollo get all of his equipment.  Whenever Apollo would feel scared or angry or hurt, he would run away to his uncle's house.

Hogwarts Years: At Hogwarts, after being Sorted into Ravenclaw, he felt more welcome because he had finally met people that he could relate with, but due to his shy nature he didn't have many friends.  He spent most of his time reading the books and writing essays, which he actually enjoyed doing.  By Second Year, he figured out that he was gay when two Fourth Year boys found him after Quidditch to tell him off for hanging around with their little sister, and the only thing he could think about was how great the one on the left looked in his Quidditch uniform.
  Not much happened in his life from then until Fourth Year, when his parents stopped accepting him at their house for summer and he would stay at his uncle's house.  That was when he found out that his uncle had violent OCD, and it was the first time where he had an episode around Apollo (Apollo had dropped his food onto the floor by accident.)
He passed his OWLS with 5 O's, 3 E's, 1 A and a T (in Divination).

Adulthood: He's coming up to Sixth Year after the summer, so he isn't an adult yet.
