It was about ten at night, and loud music was playing at the Leaky Cauldron, paired with the yelling of drunken people. Rebecca could not believe that she was there. Usually, she could never be caught dead at such a low-standard facility like this, but it was her last resort. Her family was fighting... again. And Suz was, as usual, not being very supportive. Becca could care less about that fact, but it was always nice to know your best friend really cared about your problems. She let that thought fall to the back of her mind, and she focused on more important things: not walking into the fat, sweaty men that tried to seduce her. Becca knew that The Leaky Cauldron, at this time, could be a potentially dangerous place for a girl like her to be.
Becca slid past the stumbling men and into an empty corner of the room. Some alone time was just what she needed right now. She took a seat at one of the tables and allowed herself to sprawl her arms around and find a relaxing position resting her head on the table. She remembered her family's raised voices arguing about pointless and stupid things. Whenever they fought, she just locked herself in her room or left the house; it has been pretty often lately that she's been having to do that, unfortunately.
Rebecca could almost fall asleep at the moment, but she knew that that was certainly not a good idea. She would get a room after lounging around in the lobby for a bit. She drifted in and out of various thoughts and memories, hoping there would be something... or someone to distract her.
