Longest posts!

I dunno, I always freak out when I get a new record for my longest post ever! I JUST topped my record, by over 500 words... My old record was 1536 words in a single post..

What's your longest post?

Selwyn's quad wizard tournament post was so long I had to break it up into chapters. Even after I edited out all the stuff that was non-essential but didn't edit out the stuff that was character building (ie, I barely got rid of anything because I enjoy my posterbating), it was still really long. I think it was 2.5 pages in word, so that's about 3750 words.

But usually I only post between 150 and 500 words because I get bored reading replies that are much longer than that. I really think going out of your way to try to post more is a bad idea. Like, if you write a post and it just comes out to 1000 words because it just did, then that's cool, but if you're constantly trying to beat your last word count, I think that can make problems and ruin the fun of RP.

I wasn't trying to... I had a very long post... It just ended up breaking my record.. and I got really excited...

I was doing a post explaining her entire life story, and I got so excited because I love long posts >.>

I was just wondering what other people get to in long posts..

I've gotten between....500 and 550 I think. But I really never count my posts, it's what's in the post that counts to me. As long as there's enough to reply to anyway

haha, I get curious when it looks really long! I was like.. wow.. this is getting long, I wonder how many HOLY CRAP 1550! XD

My longest post was on a fantasy rp site a long time ago... I got it saved on my hard drive...

Well my longest on PA was like 1300 words, which I only wrote because Matt was telling everyone to do longer post. Usually though I post 300-500 words, and I don't really see the point in posting much more than that.

My longest post on P.A. was like 681 words, but I wrote that becasue I was telling a story about my life. I usually post around 100-500 words, but it dependsw on how much they give me though! But I never try to post a thousands words or so!

So just to put this out there, i'm known for long posts so my average is over 1,000. My longest, however, was on my own site just earlier this year. It was 4,213.

On PA I keep them shorter, but I think my higgest was in the 5000's when I wrote Ginevra's Tournament thing a few years back for the judges : P besides that, over 1000 would be my highest here, or at least I'd guess since I know I have gone over, I just never really check anymore..
