Andrew walked down the crowded streets of Diagon Alley, smiling brightly. He had been feeling rather elated since he had his first kiss with Nerissa and managed to destroy Ne'Os's home back in Egypt. If he were any more happy, he would probably be skipping down the road. Thank god he wasn't. He wore his regular gray jacket, which he had recently cleaned and had someone sew up the small holes that had once been bullet holes, his white shirt, blue jeans, and black and white shoes. He didn't want to go outside feeling like he owned everything, so he just dressed casual.

He walked casually down the road, and then looked up at some of the shop signs, which he had visited himself a couple of times, buying the necessities that he needed for school or Quidditch. He considered stopping to the small stores, to buy some potions and maybe some equipment for the next Quidditch game, but fought off the urge to. He only came out to Diagon Alley to a buy a book that he had accidently burnt when he was reading it in his dorm before school ended.

Setting himself straight, he continued off, walking at a steady pace, checking the signs for the bookstore where he got all his books for school and quickly checked his pocket, to see if he had enough sickles. He counted them up slowly and found that he had enough for the one book. As he looked up he accidently ran into a man. Andrew kept himself up though and said casually "Sorry man, my fault."

Post by Vito Dee Symons Mon Jul 19, 2010 10:15 pm

People had bad days. Bad days were usually caused because of a few unfortunate happenings, or just waking up in a bad mood… but Vito Dee Symons didn’t wake up in a bad mood; he went to sleep in a bad mood and woke up feeling as he had the evening prior to falling asleep.

Vito ran a comb through his brown hair roughly, wincing when he accidentally ran the comb’s teeth against the skin of his skull, and stared at his reflection in the mirror before him, trying his best to wipe the scowl off of his face in order to replace it with his usual, ‘yeah, I’m badass’ expression, but for some reason he just… couldn’t. He kept thinking about his third creator- or, why he didn’t have a third creator. Vito remembered waking up on a beach, lying on a towel as if he had been sunbathing the entire time… and wandering around London for hours in search of the hateful person who had brought him to London.

He thought back to the night he had brought Jack with him to Satin’s, and sighed, sitting down on the chair that he had moved in front of the large mirror; the sympathy he had seen in her eyes… Why had it been there in the first place? Vito couldn’t seem to wrap his brain around the fact that she had felt pity for him- despite the fact that she had said that she hadn’t, he himself had seen it in her eyes. Who would pity someone like Vito? He had everything, so what was there to pity?

The poltergeist set the comb he was holding down on the table nearest to him and inhaled slowly. His hair was combed back in the same way he always did his hair, in order to keep it out of his face, but something still felt… off. This happened every once in a while with Vito; he would look in the mirror and something about his appearance wouldn’t looked perfect in his eyes no matter how hard he tried to make it that way.

Vito stood and walked over to his closet. He pulled out a white suit with black trim around the collar, and a white button-up shirt to go underneath. He held the clothing out in front of him and examined them for a moment as they hung from the hanger, blowing slightly back and forth when the rotating fan on the other side of the room was aimed towards him. He nodded once, the suit looked just as perfect as his clothing always did, and he felt that perhaps if he dressed himself in his best clothing, maybe it would get rid of that feeling that something wasn’t right when he looked at himself in the mirror.

After shutting his closet door, Vito pulled on his clothing, thinking as he did so. What was there to do on a day when you felt as if you could just throttle anyone who looked at you oddly? Vito would find something to do; he always did, even if it meant destroying someone’s life in the process. He threw the hanger his clothes had been hanging on, on his bed and looked in the mirror once more. He nodded, well, at least he would look perfect in the eyes of the people walking the streets of London, even if his own eyes wouldn’t stop telling him something was missing.

He grabbed a pair of shades and clipped them onto his shirt before heading down the spiral staircase that brought him back down to the first floor of his club. Vito walked over to the bar and ordered a drink and brought it with him when he walked out the door to find something to do to entertain himself. He, of course, felt as if staying in a booth at Satin’s with some good wine would be more enjoyable, but he figured he would get more of that attention he so enjoyed if he chose to spend time somewhere other than his club for the day.

Vito made his way down the streets of Diagon Alley- why was he in such a distasteful place? Unfortunately, one had to cross through Diagon Alley to get to any place worth actually spending time. Had there been any other street for the poltergeist to fallow, he certainly wouldn’t have taken the one that forced him to spend time near people who really didn’t know how to dress properly. He frowned when someone who looked as if they had gotten their clothes from a donation center knocked against him, almost making him spill his expensive drink.

Sorry? The child was apologizing? Vito smoothed the front of his suit and shot the young man a glare that could have turned someone to stone, “Who the f*ck do you think you are?” he asked in that low, smooth voice of his.

Great, another one of those guys. Andrew had been feeling quite good, until this freak showed up. "Screw you," he said, his face turning into a scowl "I apologized, and if you have anything else to say, you can kiss my a**,". Andrew could be someones best friend, but he could rip someones head of if they crossed him. Most people didn't like him when he was angry, and he showed it.

To Andrew, the guy looked like some brat that had managed to seep into their parents trust fund money. Or, he got a good job dressing up like Colonel Sanders, from those KFC commericials. It occured to Andrew that he looked a little both. Andrew, breathing away his anger, began to walk away calmly, his day ruined by that guys sudden apperance.

[OOC: loved your description of Vito XD]

Every so often people talked in such a way to Vito, but it didn’t happen often, and for a moment, Vito only stood there in disbelief, holding his glass loosely in one of his hands. Vito sure had had enough of all these children running about, acting as if they were actually worth something. He thought about just letting the boy walk away to save himself the trouble of putting up with another, unintelligent teenager, but something about letting the child win bothered Vito like crazy.

The poltergeist threw back the last of his drink before turning around on his heal to face the back of the boy who had just insulted him, after running into him, “You bastard,” he growled and shook his head once. Now, Vito had to admit that there was quite some temptation to throw his glass at the back of his head, but he figured that the people around them wouldn’t find that all that entertaining to watch, and would probably go calling some Auror to come to the child’s rescue. He rolled his dark eyes; he would be able to handle such a situation, for course, but it sounded as if it would take too much effort on his part, and he really wasn’t in any good mood.

“Are you ill? Or have you been this unintelligent all your life?” he asked, faking curiosity in his tone to add to the insult, his eyes still narrowed and filled with hatred.

[Lol that was the first thing that popped into my head xD]

"I'm getting more ill each second I'm talking to you," he said, not turning his back and putting on the apparent leather gloves he owned quickly over his hands "so yes you could say that." Andrew then continued walking forward, trying to forget about what had happened. But something made Andrew stop. He didn't know why, but it felt as if he had just walked back the devil. He grinned to where no one could see and then turned around, keeping his face straight.

"Just go," he hissed "and go on with your life. You don't want me as your enemy." And with that, Andrew turned again again and continued to walk forward, wanting to mind his own buisness now. He was a lot like his brother, and one of them was a short temper. If someone even tried to mess with him, he could hold a grudge until he was dead. And he knew that would be a long time from now.

There had always been a part of Vito that enjoyed situations where he had the choice of whether or not to make a big mistake, simply because he knew that he could make that choice for himself, and because he also knew that even if he managed to screw things up for himself, he would always find a way to slither away from everything unscathed.

That could have been why Vito did what he did. Now, it wasn’t often that Vito chose to allow others to see that he wasn’t exactly human, but when he was positive that it would benefit him if he did so, well, he just couldn’t turn down the opportunity. The egotistical man dropped his glass on the ground and watched it shatter with a smirk on his face, his skin and his clothing paling noticeably as he stood there, his arm still hovering above the place where he had purposely dropped his empty glass… and just as it always worked; Vito seemed to vanish into thin air. He, of course, was still standing there, but no one other than himself was able to see that for themselves.

“Actually, I prefer enemies over acquaintances,” came Vito’s low voice, though it seemed to be coming from a different position than where he had been standing a moment before; he walked slowly towards the boy before stepping behind him. “You caught me on a bad day, actually, and you can ask anyone who has ever been in pain… that means that you’re a rather unfortunate person…” He said slowly, drawing out each word as if the child couldn’t understand a word he was speaking.

Vito slipped his wand out of his pocket and held it out in front of his face, staring at it -yes, yes, it was transparent also, Vito wasn’t a moron; he wasn’t about to give his location away simply to stare at the wand and wonder what he planned on doing to harm the dolt before him. “I actually don’t like being ordered around,” he added, fallowed by a thoughtful, “hmmm” before he took the stick in his hand and jabbing it against the young man’s throat. “Ouch, that’s got to hurt…”

Andrew quickly flinched back, his throat burning for a second. He coughed up some dry air and then looked at where Vito had disappeared. So he wanted to play that game. "Fine," he said and then grinned evil. "Now you see me," he said and concentrated heavily. A second later, he was gone. He turned invisible and no one could see him at all. "Now you don't." He then changed his 2 leather gloves to their original form- two silver gauntlets. "Leave. Now." was all he said, getting ready for a fight, if need be.

Another poltergeist? No, no, Vito would have noticed when the young man disappeared; most poltergeists had a rather unique way of becoming transparent, and the child certainly wasn’t a poltergeist. Though the idea had interested Vito for a moment, there was no point in considering the impossible. What needed to be concentrated on, was finding the location of the invisible boy.

Vito listened closely for footsteps, breathing, or any other noises that could give away the boy’s position, standing still so that he was silent. Usually, Vito felt he had a big advantage against humans when in such a situation, but when he was the one who couldn’t see his opponent, and it made him feel rather on-edge as he tried to search for him. “Homenum Revelio,” He hissed quickly and flicked his wand as he had been taught during a few of the lessons he had attended while he had been staying at Hogwarts. He hadn’t actually staid there for any longer than necessary in order to insure that he had gotten his creator thrown out of the school, but he had managed to learn as much as necessary in order for him to use magic efficiently.

Stepping slowly in a circular motion, Vito scanned the area, watching for movement, or for the charm to take effect. Quick on his feet, the poltergeist had already decided which incantation to speak the second the boy game into view once more…

Vito would harm the child, for he had decided that what the other citizens around him saw didn’t matter to him anymore; he didn’t want some nitwit thinking that he could knock into him and speak to him the way he had, and get away unscathed. It just didn’t work that way. Not when Vito Dee Symons had a say in the matter- or was in a particularly bad mood… either applied.

Andrew quietly backed away from the invisible man, keeping his breathing in a slow rhythm. He would have to get away now. As long as he had the gauntlets, he could remain invisinle for quite some time. The only question now was how to get away. Perhaps apparation? No he still needed to get the book and get home. He wanted to get home, but didn't want the guys wand jabbed in his throat again, like some sort of challenge. Wasn't worth fighting the Colonel.

He slowly back up, moving across people and turning back visible, trying to blend in with the large crowd. It was a very crowded day and everyone was minding their own buisness. All Andrew had to do was keep his head down and get to the bookstore without being detected. Before he knew it, he was already far from the spot where he had run into the man, and grinned. He was pretty good, he had to admit.
