What Have We Done?'

Julia plopped on the couch, nearly out of breath from retreating from the Great Hall. It was a dumb idea to wear heels as high as her's were, yet she still succeeded in making it to the couch without breaking a leg. Julia ripped off her shoes and tossed them against the wall next to the fire. Graduation was a total failure, but the attack went great.

Julia never wanted to be a Death Eater, but her mother was, and her grandparents, and her great-grandparents and so on. In spite of that, Arthur was a member of the Order of the Phoenix, so that pretty much ruined everything, though she hoped it would be fine. She felt bad about everything, and she just wanted to break down and cry. She was under so much pressure by her family to do no wrong against the Dark Lord, but, honestly, she despised him greatly.

Julia put her legs up on the couch and relaxed, resisting the urge to break down. Most Slytherins were followers of the Dark Lord, or presumably evil, so if she was to break down, she would regret it sooner than later. She hoped someone would come along, someone who hopefully understood her position.

Zakk, was sitting on a couch next to the one the girl sat on. She sat on the couch, threw her high wheels against the wall next to the fire and put her legs on the couch relaxing. She seemed to have come from the Graduation attack, like him. He smiled and looked at her. "Hello there. Graduation as well?" He asked, smiling.

He had a white shirt, with all the buttons tied up. Sleeves rolled up revealing a tatoo on each arm, not the DE's mark though. He had a yellow tie and a grey vest and a pair of black jeans. Brown belt to hold it and white sneekers. He yawned and stretched his arms since they were a little sore.

Julia looked up, noticing a boy sitting on the couch beside her's. She smiled halfheartedly and nodded, "Yes, it went... well I suppose" She couldn't tell if he was a Death Eater or not, so she decided to keep remarks about the attack to herself, just in case that he wasn't. "Were you a part of the attack?" She asked, obviously asking if he was a Death Eater.

Julia took the clip out of her hair and shook her head around, her hair flying down in all directions. She ran her fingers through her hair and tamed it down, so it wasn't messy anymore. The boy looked intimidating in a way, though Julia wasn't at all intimidated by him. He seemed nice, if anything, he was cute too, but he seemed younger.

"Yes I was. I did as much as I could. I'm not a DE, if that's what you are wondering." Zakk looked at her. She had a long hair, and as she waved it around she seemed to be really cute. He smiled and leaned towards the fire on the couch, yawning. "I'm a DE supporter sadly .." He sighed. "What about you? DE, am I correct? I think I saw you there. Not sure .. When the lights were on there was too much people and when they were off I couldn't see." He said laughing.

He untied his tie and putted it around his neck, taking off his vest and throwing it on the other end of the couch. He yawned and smiled. "So .. I think you don't like beeing a DE if you are one .. Atleast, you don't seem madly happy like the other DE's." He said laughing. "Care to explain?"

Julia felt uneasy as the boy said he was a 'Death Eater supporter'- that was a bummer. She was hoping to rant about how much she disliked the Dark Arts and the Dark Lord; but she didn't want to step on any toes. "Oh... Yeah I'm a Death Eater" unfortunately. She didn't want to ruin a good conversation by saying that being a Death Eater was a bad thing... even though it was to her at least. "I was there the whole time, but I don't think I saw you there She recalled.

Julia felt even more uneasy when he pointed out that she didn't seem happy. Was it really that obvious? "Well, I guess I just don't get as excited about pain and suffering as other Death Eaters do" She said sarcastically. "Let's just say I'm not very proud of being a Death Eater" She said flatly. She didn't mind explaining everything to him, in fact, that's exactly what she wanted to do, but she didn't want to sound like a depressed, overly emotional adolescent.

"Well .. I was the boy who was moving in slow-motion, thrown on the ground with a table on top of him. You sure you missed that?" He said sarcasticly as well. "Yeah, I was sure I had seen you there. Don't worry by the way .. I won't tell anyone that you don't like beeing a DE. Everyone has their personal choices to make. If you think you don't like beeing a DE, who am I to say that you should love the almighty Dark Lord?" He said laughing.

He waved his head around, fixing his messy hair, now covering a little of his eyes. He yawned. "Not all Death Eater's love suffering and pain .. There are some who do it but regret it, even though. It's just like they have to, family traditions for example. I'm only a DE so I can avenge my parents. I could probably see you as an Auror." He said, smiling at her.

"Thanks, I'd appreciate that" She smiled at him. "I'm Julia, by the way. Nice to meet you" She extended her hand over to him. "So I presume that you are pretty exhilarated by the graduation? You sure do seem it" She laughed. "I will admit it, it can be pretty interesting to be a Death Eater at times, but you grow to regret things you've said... things you've done."

Julia nodded, agreeing with him. "I know, I'm not prejudice, it just seems that way. No matter what they do or where they go, someone gets harmed or even killed. It really seems like that's their sole purpose; not to bring the Dark Lord back, but to hurt everything." Julia began to laugh, as she listened to herself, "Wow, I can get pretty deep" She joked.

"Well I know that position. The only reason that I am a Death Eater is because my mother's side of the family were all Death Eaters... literally. It gets pretty annoying, because they expect me to do everything they did and to believe in the same things. But I don't" She shrugged. "But what about you? What motivates you to be a Death Eater?" She asked.

"Hey, it's no problem at all." He said smiling back. "My name is Zakkary Blood, but you can call me Zakk. Heh, it was pretty cool, all the adrenaline, the spells flying over my head. I personally loved the part where I was hit with a Impedimienta. I wasn't used to slow-motion." He said laughing. "Yeah DE's have their fun moments to begin with, it's not all serious."

"I do agree with you. The Death Eater's objective is to protect the Dark Lord and all that, but from a long time now that they destroy everything they go through. It goes even beyond the time of Lord Voldemort. We just have to admit ,Death Eater's will do everything they can to overthrow good."

"Well, when the Death Eater's were rulling over the Ministry of Magic, the Order Of The Phoenix defeated them and recovered the Ministry to the good side. And in the process of the battle, my mother was killed and my father was sent to jail. Since then, I want to become a Death Eater so I can avenge them. I do have a brother. We don't get along pretty well. We share a big house in the Summer, so you can imagine, we have alot of arguements."

Julia laughed at his remark "Well, I suppose being in slow-motion would be fairly interesting." She agreed. "That's the bad part about it. They don't see what they're doing wrong, and all of these people are innocent. I wish I could tell them that, but they wouldn't understand. Plus, I wouldn't want to jeopardize them getting upset"

"Oh, wow, I'm sorry..." Julia couldn't imagine life without her parents, that made her rethink about not going to Ireland with them next week. "Is your brother older or younger? I never had siblings or any family member close to my age. I'm the only 'child' per say, in my family. Even though I just turned seventeen so I guess I'm a legal adult" She shrugged.

"He's the same age as me. 16. But I don't like him. He's too cocky. He's a Death Eater wanna-be, he's everything I don't want to be. He makes me sick. I'm staying in Hogwarts during Summer Break, or in Hogsmead I don't know. My house is pretty big and beeing alone with him sucks." He yawned and looked around the room. It was pretty crowded, since everyone had fleed the Graduation.
