Creating A Shop

Graduates can now start their own shop at Diagon Alley or Knockturn Alley. These shops can be ones that sell exotic items, or broomsticks, or ice cream even. People can come to your shop and buy stuff, which will go into their inventory, and their money will go into yours, from which you can purchase things from other people.

If you want to create your own shop, you have to verify the name, the place, the description, and the items sold in the shop. The maximum amount of items you can sell is 5, whereas the max price is 250. To make your shopm you need 50 sickles. To earn maximum profit, you should sell objects that people will like to buy

Remember, since the objects will go into people's inventory's, you have to sell items that are unique. So instead of brooms, you would say the name of the broom.

One additional note on the shops, if you find a canon shop that we have not offered in either Diagon or Knockturn Alley that you would like to own/run, please apply for it just exactly like you would apply for a noncanon/original shop. We will consider those businesses as well now. --Khaat

Shop Name: Cafe Twin Montez
Shop Description: A small cafe that is open from 10am 1:30pm for day time food and drinks and re-opens at 5:oopm until 10:30pm for night time food and drinks. Open to all. Also has musicians play music throughout the whole working day.
Place: Diagon Alley
Items sold: uhh...would be selling alot of different foods and drinks..not sure about pricing though, can you help??

Just make the menu, then think of how much it would cost in Australian cafes, in australian money, then think of a sickle as two dollars.

i.e. Burger = $6
So charge 3 sickles.

Shop Description: A casual hang out for Vampires to drink blood meet other vampire friends and talk about there lives.
Place: Knockturn
Items sold: blood (types listed from commen to rare with prices also with the human precentage based on RL data)

O- 6 sickles 6% *
A- 6 sickles 6% *
AB+ 50 sickles 4% **
B- 150 sickles 2% **
AB- 250 sickles 1% ***

* has small amounts of Silver and alcohol so there is some draw to it. The silver is there to give a slight burn to it.
** is rare and a type the ministry would not give out to just any normal vampire.
*** Is extremely rare generally associated with pureblood status wizards and witches. And very few muggles would contain such rare blood. ((makes sense since theres s few pureblood status witches and wizards these days))


All types of blood here are not typicly given out in Ministry hand outs as they are uncommen to extremely rare. I would suspects they would give out O+ since its so commen and easy to produce in a short time period.

Ne'Os, a couple of things. First, you can only sell 5 items, so think about making 5 catagories rather than individual items.

Second thing, PA has used the concept that the ministry gives blood to vampires as a free service so that they will be deterred from feeding. perhaps you need to add some additional reasons why vampires would pay for blood that they can otherwise get for free--whether its by force or from the ministry. It seems to be a bit of a logic problem for me.

Yes thats why its in knockturn alley and only Vampires can enter the premises.

we're not putting businesses any place but diagon alley. we haven't opened up knockturn for new businesses, ne'os.

ok well can i have a basement or something in Diagon Alley? Or should i just find something else to do?
