I miss you (Chase)

It was midnight, stars shined brightly above the skys where the moon sat, quietly on the horizon. Daniel decided to get some fresh air and find some peace and quite. He hasn't been able to sleep lately, not with all the nightmares he's been having; he didn't really feel like sleeping tonight so he got up from his bed in the Gryffindor Dormortories, pulled on his jeans and started heading his way out of the common room, walking into the Astronomy Tower. Daniel loved it here, especially at night it was one of the best place to get some peace and quite along with the lake. Finally, he got to the astronomy tower and stood there by the stairs, looking around the room as he took in every single thing and walked towards the end of the classroom and leaned against the railing, and started looking out the sky

The moon was up, and Chase sat in the common room. Homework lay around her, half done, but Chase wasn't even looking at the papers. Chase's mind was reeling, she couldn't think of something, but wanted to really badly. Recently she had lost her memory, and even more recently, she had found out she had friends.. more then she thought she had. She had made so many other friends, and now she knew, she had another whole life she didn't know about. Was it best she didn't know about it? But she WANTED to know about it.. Three guy's names.. Two of them gone, never heard of again, but one of them.. she knew him, and she knew he was still here. Daniel Valentine.

Unable to take it anymore, Chase left the common room, which wasn't unusual for her anymore. Most people thought she just went down the hall to the kitchens, but tonight, Chase was taking a bit of a detour, a REALLY LONG detour. She went upstairs, letting her mind wander as she walked along the halls, barely even thinking about the paths she chose. Sometimes she went to the right, others the left, going up staircases, finding passageways she didn't even remember knowing. Suddenly, coming to her senses, she looked around. The Astronomy tower? How had she gotten up here?

A small nose poked through the door, a man.. stood there, she knew him, Daniel. He looked at he fox and picked her up, wondering who's puppy it was.

The flashback startled her. She looked around, and then slowly, as quietly as she could, she opened the door. What she saw didn't surprise her. He stood there, looking out the window. It was almost like she knew he would be here. His name wouldn't come to her, but she knew she knew him from somewhere. His aura swirled around him in beautiful bands of color. His emotions and past, all having an affect on the swirling mass of color that Chase pushed out of her sight, focusing on the back of his head.

Taking a deep breath, Chase cleared her throat. "Sorry.. I didn't know anyone was up here." She said pretending she didn't know him. She stepped into the room. "I love coming up here!" She said bouncing in and standing beside him at the window, looking up at the stars. "It's always so peaceful, even if its late at night, the stars seem so close I could touch them!" She said reaching up and placing her hand on the glass, as though the stars were right behind it, and she could feel the warmth of the speck of light in the sky. Turning to the boy she smiled at him. "Hi! I'm Chase Moor! I don't know if I know you.. I feel like I do! But I just can't remember! Silly me eh!" She said laughing, her head thrown back like it was the funniest thing she had ever heard. She looked at him, pushing red hair out of her face, so she could see him better.

Daniel heard a beautiful, angelic voice behind him - a familiar voice. He started looking around to see who it was, and his heart felt as if it skipped a few beat but of course his heart has been dead ages ago. He had a pretty good memories when it happened, from when he was fighting a handful of Death eater till when Bellatrix Legstrange used crucio on him and opened up his chest with sectusempra. He was glad that Ne'os came to save him before he had bled to death; otherwise he wouldn't be here anymore. As she walked over, the calm and peaceful expression fell from his face. He remembered her, but he couldn't remember her name, he had nightmares ever night and everytime he dreamt of her she'd just disappear out of thin air. "No problem. Yeah, it great out here especially at night; it the best place to go if you need to get some peace and quite," he laughed softly, his heart felt like it was pumping really fast. When the girl told him her name his stomach dropped, he remembered her name now. It was her, after all this time he didn't really believed that she would come back; she had left him without any notice. "Hello, i'm Daniel - Daniel Matthew Valentine," he smiled at her holding out his cold, stony and icy hands in front of her.

Chase giggled at him when he looked at her and said it was okay. "I don't like heights very much! But I love the stars.. Brooms scare me so badly!" She said laughing and looked at him again. Her heart skipped a beat when her eyes found his. A blush crept across her cheeks and she looked away quickly again. How odd, she put her hand on her chest, and frowned, as though wondering why her heart had done that. "yeah.. peace and quiet.." She said glancing at him again and then her eyes found the stars again and her frown disappeared as quickly as it had come.

"I guess I just need to think.. I was doing my homework downstairs, I'm actually a Hufflepuff, I came all the way upstairs, I wasn't even paying attention though! I guess my feet just brought me here!" She said giggling. She looked up at him and frowned when he said his name. "It's very nice to meet you Daniel.." she said softly her hand finding his, and shaking it slightly her eyebrows shot up, and threatened to disappear into her hair. She stared at his hand in shock. "So cold.." she whispered staring at him for a long moment before dropping his hand again. "You know.. a while ago.. I lost my memory, and I don't remember a thing!" She said looking up at him, her eyes twinkling.

"Did.. I happen to know you? I feel like I did.. I just.. can't place it.." She said looking at her hands, which she had folded on the windowsill. "I'm so sorry! I feel like it was really important! I just.. someone put a memory charm on me they said! I don't know who, or why, but I have a feeling I let them! I wanted them too! I found out all this sort of stuff.. like, my best friend is Sophia.. and I've kissed guys before! I don't even remember if I had a boyfriend or anything at all! I barely remembered my name when I came out of it.." She said softly and looked up at him. "I'm sorry! You probably don't even care!" She said softly and laughed, throwing her head back.

Daniel looked at her and watched as she continued rambling on about her. "Thank you, Chase is a beautiful name. Isn't it short for Chasity?" he asked, feeling slightly hurt that she didn't remember him. They had such a good thing going there, he loved her and he believed she loved him too. He wanted it to last forever but guess that was just life. Then when he heard that she had lost her memories a while ago, his heart sank to the ground. He remembered being in the same room with Sterling as Chase begged him and Sterling to remove her memories because she couldn't take it anymore, the pain, the suffering and the tears; that was the last time he ever saw her.

"You must of mistaken me for somebody else," said Daniel. He didn't know why he said this but he wanted to see something, he wanted to see if she'll love him again. "Oh." he spoke. "Shame on them, hope you get your memories back again," he continued. He wanted so badly to tell her all the memories she had with him, together and all her friends and family but he just wanted to test her on something. "No, no. It's fine, i like talking to you about this."

Chase grinned at him. "Actually it is! Most people think my name is guy's name.. they never think that Chase could be a girl's name!" She said giggling happily at him. Seeing the hurt look on his face, Chase started to look around frantically. Had she done something wrong? Why did he look sad? She smiled up at him, and without thinking reached up and tried to smooth out the little crease between his eyes. "Go away..." She muttered to it, and then her eyes found his and she grinned. "Sorry.. that's just a little something I do! I don't like frowning.. and I realized that all frowns start between the eyes! So if that goes away, people smile!" She said grinning at him, having had to stand on tip toes to even touch his forehead, she went back down to her normal height, looking up at him.

"Aww, I'm sorry." She said looking at him curiously though. She still felt like she knew him from somewhere.. hadn't Sophia said his name? Daniel Valentine? She looked up at him for a long moment before smiling slightly. "Thanks.. I'd like to remember things.. maybe know why I have a huge scar on my back.. and why you look so familiar.." She said softly. "And why I always think of a cute little fox with huge ears whenever I come up to this door!" She said laughing. "Sophia said it was my animagus.. but I don't even know how to do that anymore! I forgot how! I guess it's not like riding a bike.. not that I remember how to ride a bike.." she said and looked startled at that thought. "Last I remember.. I was sitting by a tree... outside, and it was about to rain.. I woke up.. and I was sitting on the floor of an apartment.. all by myself." She said her eyes unfocused as she looked out the window.

"Why would I want to forget that much time?" She said softly. "I know I wanted to.. there was a note.. saying my name.. and where I was.. and how to get home and stuff.. but my parents didn't say anything to me about it.. and my siblings hugged me a lot, wondering where I had been.. I couldn't tell them!" She said looking at Daniel again her eyes wide. "I'm sorry! I shouldn't be bothering you with all of this!" She said laughing as she held up a peace sign, using two fingers. She smiled up at him, her eyes squinted, her face full of happiness. So different then the last she had seen him, pain, and torment written on her face, now replaced by the old happiness of Chase Moor.

Daniel let out a soft, quite laughter escape his lips as she told him that people never thought Chase could be a boys name. "Well, Chasity is rarely a given name for a girl so that makes you very special," he flashed a cute, devilish grin at her. He notice her reaching up and smooth out the little creases between his eyes, he rose an eyebrows at her and his heart skipped a beat. Daniel caught her eyes, blue meeting brown eyes; he looked into her eyes and smiled "Sure, made me smile," said Daniel as he pulled a sexy, yet funny smile on to his face. He missed her touch, and moments like this it seem like a lifetime.

To his dismay, he heard her starting to ramble on about how she lost her memories and everything she had to go through after losing her memories. He let a soft, laughter escapes his lips, even though she lost her memories she was still the same person, always rambling on and on about something and never really ever get to the point. Daniel miss her too much, it was pretty amusing and adorable when she did that. And, as she continued to ramble on he, decided to press one finger on her lips and smiled at her. "Relax, take a breath, he looked into her eyes and placed his hand against her arm and brushed it lightly, with his mouth slightly parted.

Chase felt a small blush creep across her cheeks. "Chastity isn't a very common name.. but, I guess.. it is my name." She said giggling. "But I like Chase better, sometimes I forget to add the extra t on there, I can barely spell it!" She said laughing. When they met eyes, she felt her blush deepen. He was smiling, and she knew she had seen that smile before. She knew it now. "I know you!" She said suddenly, poking her finger into his chest. "I've seen you before! I know it!" She said staring right into his eyes.

Suddenly his finger was on her lips. She shut her mouth quickly and looked at him. "Sorry.." She whispered. "I get carried away." She smiled at him and looked down at his hand on her arm. She shivered slightly and looked up into his eyes. 'I know I've seen you somewhere.." she whispered, and made no attempt to move away. It felt almost.. right, to be right there next to him. "And we've been here before!" She said suddenly. Looking around, she grinned from ear to ear. "Only.. we.." She looked at the window, and then suddenly opened the window, and hoisted herself up onto the roof. "Come on!" She cried out, and climbed up onto the roof. "Up here!"

"Must be very frustrating for you," spoke Daniel. "I couldn't imagine how hard it must be," he smiled at her, giving her a little hint to see if she remember him from the first time they met, on that beach. It was the best time of his life. He noticed how her cheek turn bright red as she blushed, he chuckled when he saw this it loved it when she was blushing, again he missed it, he missed ever. To his dismay, she poked her finger into his chest which he caught with his hands and held it there for a moment as he looked back at her with confusion.

He smiled at her and dropped his finger from her lips, looking into her eyes. "Don't be.." Daniel trailed off as he moved in to kiss her. But then he was interuppted and so he stopped to see what was going on and watch as she hoisted herself up onto the roof. A grin appeared on his face, he could remember how they use to climb onto the roof of the astronomy tower and watch the moon in the horizon, he was surprised she was still doing it even though she lost her memories. Normally, Chastity was intimidated when ever he tried to do anything risky. He walked over to the window and started histing himself onto the roof quickly and without hesitation. "Its beautiful up here isn't it?
" he smiled, then looked at her. "Just like you."

Chase giggled slightly, and looked at him. He was smiling at her, and she felt a weird pang in her heart. Why did he look so familiar? He was playing with her, she knew he was! He remembered her, she knew him! When he held her hand to his chest, she looked up at him surprised. Then grinned. "I know, I know you from somewhere!" She said her heart racing in her chest. Her hand was sandwiched between two cold layers of skin. She bit her lip and looked up at him, her eyes wide.

She clambered up onto the roof, and looked up at the stars. "Wow! so high up!" She glanced down and then felt her whole body shuddering. She sat down hard, and hooked her feet into a shingle. Looking up at the stars she grinned. "Wow! it's so beautiful!" she said laughing as she looked at him and grinned. She froze and looked at him startled. "Me?" She said grinning. Looking surprised she grinned at him. "I love the stars." She said softly looking up at them. "But.. it's so familiar.." She said softly and then looked at him. Suddenly she kicked her shoes off, and one landed in the room below them, having caught the window sill, but the other slid down to fall to the ground at the base of the tower.

Chase got a dazed look on her face as she slid her toes under a shingle, and then looked at him. "Daniel.." She said slowly, a frown making a small wrinkle between her eyes. "What happened to Isobel?" She whispered and then looked surprised. "I KNEW IT!" She said suddenly and jumped to her feet, almost falling in the process, but instead of falling back, she fell forward, and fell right into Danny's lap. "I knew I knew you! I just knew it!" She exclaimed, lifting her head to look up at him. "Sorry.." She said, suddenly freezing, she blushed hard. She struggled to get out of his lap, but ended up clinging to him as her foot slipped, and she almost slid down the rooftop. Clinging to his chest, she looked down at the edge of the roof, and then up at Daniel again.
