Venus sat in the back of the library, not too far from where the locked door to the 'Restricted' area was, but she had no intention or interest of going anywhere near there. In fact, she was squatting in an aisle a few feet away, an old book open on her crouched knees. The books wobbled and she flinched, but she managed to keep her balance. She could always sit down on the floor, but where was the fun in that? She smiled to herself as she returned her attention back to the ancient book, crystal clear blue eyes scanning the book quickly as she researched olden-day sweet recipes. All was seeming well for Venus today, it seemed.
Until they came back to visit, the little shadows that loved to dance around her and muck up her sight. She ignored them for the first few moments, dismissing them as her imagination, but they helped her see that they were not, even if they in a way were. They covered her book, bubbling and making hissing noises as if it was acid, though the book would receive no damage at all, as they were not really... real. Sighing, she flipped to the next page and the shadowy goo flung off of the book, hitting the bookshelf opposite and erupting into many colorful cupcakes, which began bouncing around, making 'cutesy' noises as they did.
Venus rolled her eyes, brushing a strand of brownish hair from her face as she waved the cupcakes away. "Go on, shoo" she murmured, her slight annoyance growing as she batted the air, though they continued to bounce around, a new one appearing each time two came in contact. Venus let out a long, exasperated sigh before turning the page with a large snapping sound, attempting to ignore them and read for the moment. She'd force them to dispensary if necessary...
"1..." she threatened, looking around as the images all seemed to scatter. A small smile played upon her lips, but she closed the book nonetheless, now tired of it, though she remained in her squatting position. She tilted her head up to the ceiling of the Library, settling her boredom with counting all the grooves in the material that formed the roof.
