Lily was absently polishing her broomstick as she glanced up at Abus who yawned as he read his book. Ther mother had decided now was a good time to de-gnome the garden. Well that's what she told them, but Lily knew she spent an hour sitting silently by herself. It was one of her riturals. Lily knew only one thing plagued her mind in that time, her father. James meanwhile, had wandered out around lunchtime not even breathing a word on where he was heading. Lily put down her broomstick and polishing wax and wipe and glanced at her older brother.
"Hey Al, do you believe in gaurdian angels?" Lily asked randomly as she gazed around the library. Even though she was close to her siblings and they spoke often, they never really seemed to talk. Like a meaningful conversation. She knew that Albus would probably think her crazy for asking such a random question but it did have it's reasonings. And she knew that Albus probably wouldn't like where the conversation was heading. Toward their father.
Since Lily was little, she had this feeling at times like someone was watching her. It wasn't that eeire feeling, it was peaceful, fuzzy and safe. She knew that if she brought this up with her mother that it would make her upset. Even though she tried to hide it, Lily knew her mother was still grieving, she always would be. It was a sad truth.
