Hogwarts Tournament and The Triwizard Tournament

The Triwizard Tournament is held at random times, this year will be the first time Hogwarts will host the tournament since the infamous tournament where Cedric Diggory died.

Now, once again, twenty students from two other schools in the world will join Hogwarts for the tournament. Of them, two will represent their school as the champion. In Hogwarts too there will be a vote for who will represent their school in the tournament.

After the champions are chosen in October, the First Task will begin on November. Then, as a celebration for the tournament, the Yule Ball will be held during Christmas time. All students are invited to this ball.

Following this is the second task in February. Then the champions get a long break and only have to do the Third Task in May. All the tasks will be connected in some way.

The students from the other two schools will attend Hogwarts classes and stay at the castle in previously empty dormitories.



The Hogwarts Tournament is a magical competition held on Hogwarts every two years.

Hogwarts Tournament Champions are four students.One student is selected from each Hogwarts house: Gryffindor, Huffelpuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.They have to complete three individual tasks and the champion with the best combined score from all three tasks is the winner of the tournament. Winner's prize is 1000 sickles, and a special award.

Hogwarts Tournament Judges give marks from 1 to 10 too each champion.There is five judges on the tournament.They mark students for their performance aswell as their level of orientation and effectivity.In order to win champions must get the highest marks they can.

The four tasks: are based on the four houses and the qualities they value. Gryffindors task is of bravery, Hufflepuffs task is of loyalty, Ravenclaws task is of logic and wisdom and Slytherins is of cunning and determination. There is a task every other month during the school term, starting October and ending on May.
