What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Abbey stuffed her hands in her jeans pockets and kicked a small gray pebble across the dirt of the forest. She grumbled to herself as she plopped down on a rock and felt the pitter-patter of rain hit her hoodie. She hadn't seen many of her friends in awhile because of winter break, and she was feeling lonely.

Danny was out in the forest looking for...well nothing. He just wanted something to do and hopefully not get killed in the process. He wore dark clothing to help him blend into the forest if he DID manage to find something in the forest. As he traveled slowly, he saw someone familiar in near one of the trees. Quickly, he moved forward and noticed that it was Abbey. "What are you doing out here by yourself?" he asked curiously

Abbey looked up as the crunching of leaves under feet echoed among the trees. Just then, she saw Danny turn the corner. "Hey." she said. "And I'm just looking for something to do." she sighed. "How about you?"

Danny was going to say his true motives yet didn't know how it would play out. He was really just looking for new life in the forest yet the new headmaster pretty much made everyone snitches. "I was just collecting fruit for Potions," he said smiling warmly "and you must be pretty brave to come out here like this by yourself"

Abbey smiled and shrugged. "I do it all the time." she said. "Nothing ever seems to really come after me.." Abbey looked around as a shriek of a bird rang out. "Need any help collecting plants?" she asked, standing up off the rock.

Danny thought for a moment then nodded "Sure," he said calmly "and I always thought Shacklebolt would've close off this place or something. I mean, this place is dangerous and yet people still like to visit."

Abbey nodded and chuckled. "Yeah, but Shacklebolt was never the most normal teacher here..." she said, trailing off. Abbey began walking deeper into the forest, kicking pebbles along the way, a habit that she seemed to be developing these days.

"So what kind of plants are you looking for?" she asked. Abbey had seen a myriad of plants that grew in the forest from her many adventures into it. "A specific kind?" she asked, plucking a pink rose colored flower off a bush. She inhaled it's sweet scent and tucked it into her pocket to place in a vase later on when she was back in her dorm.

"True," he said reffering to Shacklebolt "and non really. The teacher just said to gather some up for potions tommorow. I guess its a NEWT thing or something." He looked around and tried to spot some things. He tehn muttered his thermal vision spell and his eyes turned pure white and shined as everything went black. only a few things lit up white showing body heat and he sighed quietly. "So anything interesting happen out here?" he asked

Abbey shook her head. "Well, at least not for awhile." The last exciting thing Abbey remembered was the fight between the Confederacy members and the Resistance, but she couldn't tell Danny that. "That's why I came out here you know; to look for something exciting to do." she said.

"Right," he said nodding his head to her explanation. "I'm pretty much out here to escape all the excitement. Been in too much situations now and well...it's annoying." He wanted to tell somebody what happened at Azkaban, then meeting him out in the middle of nowhere. Yet he knew that if he did, it would have consequences.
