Burning the Trail

Artemis was still surprisingly quiet. It was probably due to the fact she was being pulled around by a deranged lunatic and a lunatic in training. Well, they were mad in her eyes. "I have my own legs you know. I don't need to be pulled around like a dog." Artemis scowled.

(No offense to you guys! Your not really lunatics.)

"Well then stop acting like one," he said walking along the slippery tile. What happened next fell completely out of Dannys control. One of the tiles broke off and made Danny roll off the roof. Before he fell off though, he clung onto the gutter railing and held on for dear life. Before Andrian could do anything to help him though, Danny slipped and fell onto the cold ground, blacking out. He felt dazed and his vision went black then went back to normal multiple times. The back of his head hurt and his back hurt as he reached for the Siren. The guards were already close to Danny and their guns were drawn. "Help!" he yelled

"DANNY!" screamed Andrian letting go of Artemis and slided his way back down to the roof top and as soon as he reached to the gutter he held onto it and tried to reach out for him but it was too late. His friend fell down, laying motionlessly on the ground; he climbed back up and sat down on the roof looking down at his best friend body. He couldn't believe it, his best friend was dead - HELP!; he heard and he looked down at his friend but this time he was surrounded by guards. "Bombarda!" he shouted shooting a spell directly at the guards blowing the ground below them.

Danny crawled back slowly blacking out from time to time. He fought hard though to stay alive. As he crawled back, he heard the clattering of things around him. He gasped for air and then used both arms and legs to crawl faster. He finally sat up and tried to get the Siren out yet couldn't find it.

"Levicorpus!" shouted Andrian flourishing his wand at Danny and caused him to dangle upside down. He hoped he was thinking the same thing that he was thinking in his mind; he needed him to be ready have the siren ready so he could blast them from behind. If not, he would've had to drop him so that he could save them because the guards wouldn't be distracted for long. Luckily, he still had his other wand he had stolen off Artemis, it was a good idea to have a second wand at the ready.

(Artemis you push me off and fly off with your wand)

(Kay, but I think she should just aparate. She can't fly without a broom)

Artemis slowly slid her way down the roof, making sure she did not loose her footing. Finally, she was standing behind Andrian. She reached into his pocket, slowly so she would not get caught. When her hand grasped something wooden, she knew it was her wand. Artemis smiled; and gave Andrian a push, just for good measure. On that note, she stood up, and turned on the spot, disappearing with a 'pop'.

Danny watched in horror as he friend plummeted to the Earth. He tried to react yet couldn't move. Finally he tried something, he aimed the gun towards the ground on the spot Andrian would hit. He casted levicorpus and felt an insane buring inside him. The spell shot out like a bullet and caught Andrian just at the last second. Danny then passed out feeling drained of everything in him.

Andrian felt a hand going down his pocket, he felt weird but he just crained his head and shuddered; ignoring what was going down his pocket. Probably just a spider. He felt a sudden force pushing him off the roof sending him falling from the sky with nothing to hold on; he felt something dangling him upside down just as Danny shot a spell at him. Then he fell to the ground and grunted.

"Put your hand up!" shouted the two remaining guards. Andrian gasped and got onto his feet and placed his hands up. "Lock his arm," said one of them as his friend walked around him to tie him up. Leaving him no chance, he knocked the guy behind him in his head and then brought him over his head and in front of him blocking the bullet the other guard shot then threw him away and punched the guard three time in the face and finished him off with a kick in the stomach.

Danny dreamt as he was passed out. He saw everything that happened to him in his life. His childhood, teenage, and near adult. He saw his friends and his enemies. He saw his lovers and haters. Finally after seeing himself fight Voldemort, he woke with a start in a cold sweat. He looked around without moving his head and he felt broken. He pulled his head up and saw the guards knocked out and Andrian standing over them. Danny got up slowly and felt his right hand burn immensly. He walked over to him limping and said "Nice job. Wheres Artemis?" he asked knowing she had gotten away

"Gone."

His word was simple and short, no more further detail he had to explain. Andrian jaws clenched as he ran over to Danny and put his arm around his shoulder and then helped him over to the bench. "Relax," he said setting him down, fixing up with his healing skills. There was a huge red blood mark on his hand from falling down from the roof like that.
