The teenager stands at 5'2 and weighs in at a measly 110 lbs. She has a very small build because she is a dancer. Her leg muscles are toned because of her dancing.

General Personality: She is very bubbly and open. She likes to have fun and laughs easily. She's a big joker when around friends and her mind can go into the gutter quite a bit. She enjoys acting crazy and not caring about what others think, often laughing when she is looked at oddly. Della is very kind and has trouble saying no; she's a very loyal friend until the end.She does have a bit of a temper. She can be very rash, rushing headlong into things without thinking. Her rash behavior also means that she is spontaneous and random.She is very protective of her family, being a family oriented person. She doesn't let mistakes get her down and is very determined. Though she seems fearless (being an adrenaline junkie) she isn't really. If there is one thing that Della has a passion for, its dance. Dance is her life and she can often be found practicing anywhere she can.

Childhood: Della was born to Janine and Hunter Bancroft on February eleventh in Aberdeen, Scotland. Her older sister, Skye is two years older than her. Her father was a literature professor at King's College and her mother was a curator of an art museum. Della grew up learning the great works of literature and seeing the great works of art; it was a very artistic and creative upbringing. Della and Skye were very close to each other though they did have their fights. Della was rash and adventurous and would often drag Skye along for adventures, though they usually got in trouble for said adventures. At one point, Della's family began to realize that there was something odd about Della. It always happened in times of great emotion, unexplainable things like things breaking spontaneously.

There was talk around town about the times that it had happened in public. Some had even gone so far as to say that Della was possessed and should have an exorcism. Of course, Della's parents would hear of no such thing. Their child was simply not possessed. Janine figured that Della just needed a way to channel her emotions and signed her daughter up for dance classes when Della was five. It worked, for a time. If it did one thing, it was set Della up for life; she fell in love with dance. But eventually things started happening again. That was when the man showed up at their door and explained that Della was a witch. After the wizard's initial explanation, the family was tense for a while. But, as they learned more, and because they loved their daughter, they accepted her and let her attend the school, Hogwarts.
Hogwarts: Della's first year at Hogwarts was nothing less than eye-opening for the muggle-born. She was sorted into Hufflepuff and quickly made friends because she was, as many adults called her, a social butterfly. She grew to like her astronomy class and later, divination. Her least favorite classes quickly became potions (because, if she couldn't even boil water, how was she supposed to make potions?) and history of magic (who really cared about history anyway?). Now, in her fifth year she has picked up ancient runes out of curiosity.
