Scream and Run Away

Lucius Malfoy apparated to the forest and lost no time in locating the familiar standing stone so that he could enter the lair.

Lair.

It was the perfect word. It even sounds evil. Say it aloud, right now. Just listen to the syllables roll off your tongue. Sounds ominous, doesn't it?

Ominous suited Lucius down to the ground. He was made to be ominous. Back in the day, when he was on the Hogwarts Board of Governors and had had a hand in every bowl, he'd had to settle for snide insinuation, but now he could be properly ominous. It was liberating.

So anyway, he was in the lair. It looked adequate. Now, he just had to wait for the rest of the lazy buggers to join him.

Lucius hated waiting.

Artemis admired her handiwork. A carefully carved clump of metal with spinning knobs lay in front of her, ready to be used. If somebody saw it now, they would want to take it to The Museum of Modern Art or whatever it was muggles called it. But they did not know it's real power. There was a certain hot liquid inside the burner that could kill a fully-grown human in minutes. If it leaked, anybody who touched it would be doomed. Unfortunetaly, it still had a couple of kinks she needed to work out.

It was at that exact moment that Artemis remembered the meeting with Lucius. And the other Death Eaters, or course. She set down all of her tools, and apparated to the Forbidden Forest. Looking into her memory for where Lucius had said the lair was, she proceeded to walk throught the dark woods. Up ahead, she saw the lair. As instructed, Artemis bowed to the stone(she felt extremaly ridiculas), and entered Up ahead, she saw Lucius. "Hello Lucius."

Vincent Majere apparated to the part of the forest you could apparate too. It was so dark he could barely see, although it was daytime the trees blocked most of the sunlight. "Lumos," he said hoarsely. Majere was quite weak physically, he walked slowly, and had a permanent coughing problem, you might think he wasn't a very good wizard at all, but he was. Magic was one thing he excelled at. Lighting the area around him, he wandered a bit, and eventually found the stone which guarded their lair. Wasting no time, he entered the lair.

Darren apparated to the forest from Malfoy Manor. He followed Majere to the stone and entered the lair through that. Once there, he looked around the lair, it was quite impressive. Lucius, Majere and another Death Eater were there already. That made 4, not including the student death eaters, which were probably around as well. Darren was not entirely sure of Lucius' plan, but he decided to go with it. Lucius was quite a smart guy, he wouldn't risk doing something really stupid now.
