What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. O.W.Ls lesson

Jess walked in and with a wave of her wand made3 the instructions appear on the board as she moved to her desk and sat down waiting for her students.

An infusion is the process of soaking herbs in hot water. It can be done in any kind of cauldron and it should be covered as well. The following potions are not to be done on your own. You must have a teacher present to make sure you do not over swell or deflate parts of yourselves.

Please remember to not wear dangling earrings or other jewelry. Also, if your hair is longer than your nape, please put it up in a ponytail or if you do not have something to put it up with, tell me and I will help you. I have bands for such an occasion. Remember that you should wear your smock, dragonhide gloves, goggles, and the rest of your protective gear as soon as you finish taking down your notes and before you gather your needed potion-making ingredients.

In class work 10 5 points:
Make an infusion of wormwood. After pouring a cup of water, set your flame (I will help you do this.) to boil. After three minutes the water should be boiling. Then put in the 10oz of dried & powdered wormwood in the cauldron. Turn off the flame and stir thrice clockwise. Let the herbs steep (soak) in hot water for five minutes. Using your ladle carefully ladle out the wormwood that hasn't dissolved and place in the jar provided, be sure to label it. As it can be used again within the week. Then pour the infusion into the vials provided that you will label with your name and house. Stopper and lid everything carefully. Clean your workstation. Put away your supplies and then call me over to check your work.

Swelling Solution
Causes something it touches to grow bigger.

Things what you will need: Copper Cauldron, sliced toad, sliced caterpillar, chopped daisy roots (3), dried nettles (5), billywig stings (4), peeled abyssian shrivelfigs (3) and a tubeworm.

Deflating Draught
It is the potion used as an antidote for the Swelling solution.

Things that you will need: Silver Cauldron, chopped daisy roots, rose hips and unknown ingredients.

Don't forget to put away your things in your cubbies!
