Khaat entered the OoC Headquarters for the first time, even though it was late. She didn't see anyone as she wandered from room to room. She saw traces of Sirius here, and it reminded her of the couple of times she had met him with her Uncle Remus when she was a student at Hogwarts years ago. She paused at the Black family tree, and saw the blackened out place on the wall where Sirius had been disowned by his family. She understood why Sirius had left it that way, and she left it now too, even though she could have easily repaired the burned spot. There was a bittersweet pang in her soul from being so close yet so far to the ones she loved.
She kept finding her way through the house, and finally wandered into the kitchen. She was surprised to find it occupied by a man who was apparently trying to cook something, and it looked, so far, like he was trying to do it muggle style from what she could see. She cleared her throat softly so as to not startle him in letting him know he was not as alone as he obviously thought he was.
