What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Francesca sat down infront of the class. She was excited to be teaching again. And nervous too. The last time she had been in Hogwarts was as a student.
She looked out of the window as she waited for the first students to arrive. Professor Dawntouch was away so she was taking the class.

Abbey walked into the classroom. "Morning professor." she said. Just as Abbey was about to sit down, she noticed that the person sitting at the oak desk in the front of the classroom was not Professor Dawntouch. "Excuse me, I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" Abbey asked blantantly.

Francesca smiled as the girl walked in. 'Good morning.' She watched as she went to sit down and let out a tinkling laugh when she heard her question. It wasn't often a student was so blunt. 'I might ask the same of you.' she said before straightening her face and answering 'I'm Francesca Heart, Hogwarts librarian and Head of Gryffindor as of last week.' She smiled then added 'And substitute professor of course.'

"Congrats on making Head of Gryffindor." Abbey said smiling. Abbey giggled, a light tint of pink lighting up her cheeks. "Oh I'm so sorry, I totally forgot to introduce myself! I'm Abbey Dawn, third year Hufflepuff." she told Professor Heart. "Sorry, it just surprised me to not see Professor Dawntouch here."

Keith trudged into potions, dropping his bag by his feet and taking a seat. He propped his feet up on the table and glanced over the room. "Hey Abby." He said, nodding. "Who's the sub?" Keith liked subs. Subs usually had no idea what they were doing, and were much easier to mess with.

"Hey Keith." Abbey said. "That's Professor Heart. I guess Professor Dawntouch couldn't make it today." Abbey shrugged, then turned back to Professor Heart. "Do you know why Professor Dawntouch can't teach today?" Abbey asked. "Don't get me wrong, I love subs, but it's just wierd because Professor Dawntouch usually is here."

'Thank you.' Francesca smiled at Abbey when she congratulated her. She looked up as another boy came in and sat down, putting his legs on the table. She didn't say anything, knowing that if she commented he wasn't likely to take them off anyway. 'Hello Keith. I'm Francesca, and I'm going to be taking you while Professor Dawntouch is away.' She said, after Abbey answered. 'Professor Dawntouch has been away for a while, unfortunately. She had some business to take care of. I don't know the details, but I'm sure she'll be back before long.'

Elv walked to the class. And surprised to see her boss, Francesca there. "Francesca?? What are you doing here??" she asked surprisedly. "Are you somehow inspecting the class, since you're now Head of Gryffindor, professor?" she winked to her. It was a pleasure to have her as the Head of Gryffindor, since she is very proud to be a Gryffindor. "Morning, Abbs and Keith..." she greeted her friends.

Francesca smiled at Elv and winked back. 'Hello Elv. I'm taking your class today since your normal professor is away.' She turned when she heard someone else enter the room. 'Morning student.' She said with a laugh. 'I'm Francesca. I think we'll wait for a couple more students to arrive then I'll start the class.'
