Out of Character:Name: Mitchie
Gender: Female
Age: 16
How you found Potter's Army: Cosette/Teddy
Any other characters on Potter's Army: None, yet.
Anything else: I've been roleplaying for a while, so this should be fun.
In CharacterName: Tylain Adam Ayler
Nicknames: Ty
Gender: Male
Race: Human.
Year AND Age: 16, 6th
Preferred houses: Ravenclaw or Gryffindor
Canon or Original: Original
Play-by: David Henrie (not taken, I checked)
Blood Status: Muggleborn
Height: Pretty tall for his age. (but not a giant, though.)
Hair: Dark Brown (as there is no genetic code for black a hair. Fact for the day), straight, very cooperative (spikes w/out gel, etc.)
Eye colour: green (kind of a lighter color, though.)
Skin: caucasian, but relatively tan, no freckles
Other distinguishing features: His eyes are quite an odd color. They're so light green, they almost look a hazel color, but they have gold flecks in them (Not in the picture, I just added that)
Personality: He's very bright, and catches on to topics and assignments very quickly. He sometimes thinks too much of being smart. On that topic, he thinks a bit too much into things quite often. He pretends not to know that compared to some, he's relatively good-looking, as he hates pretentious boys (well, people in general) like that. She also knows he's funny, and tends to use that as a way to make friends (but he is a bit shy, and would never use cruel jokes to make friends, or to make fun.) He's very kind, and wishes to be either a Professor or a Healer one day (if any openings are available at Hogwarts after he graduates, of course.)
Skills: Memorizing (Memory in General, really), Tests (he's very calm most of the time), and Story-telling (he enjoys it more than the listeners sometimes)
Weaknesses: Outgoing people (they sort of scare him off), Answering Questions in classes (He's very bright, and knows the answer, but sometimes he's a bit afraid to get it wrong after having spoken up), and Girls. (He's just no good around them, apparently. *shrug* )
Likes: Muggle Broadway (Wicked, specifically), Frozen Yogurt, his little siblings
Dislikes: Pushy People ("all up in your face"), ice cream (lactose-intolerant. *sigh* ), and Lovy-dovy couples (Giving flowers and candy and ick. Why give people flowers as a token of your love, when they just die?!)
Motto: Not everything in text is factual.
Family Information: The rest of his family are Muggles, including his siblings, who he treats more like kids he would babysit or the neighbors kids, because he almost never fights with them, being so easy-going. His mother, Jordyn Winslow (maiden name), is a Muggle University Professor (for Law). His father, Michael Ayler, is an Astronomer (the kind that finds the explosions and such in the pictures from the telescopes). However, the family isn't always too happy. The main reason Tylain and his siblings, Marykit and David (twins, age 10) get along so well, is because he has to help them when their parents fight.
Background: In his years at home, he was generally what kept them together, reminding his parents of what they got together for (he's heard too many stories for his liking). Once he started Hogwarts, he realized how behind he was, but quickly caught on, and is doing fine now (well, he thinks he is (insert shrug from Ty here)). He's never been good at Quidditch, so that is something he cannot relate to, but he is good when it comes to spells, memorizing dates/names/etc for History of Magic, and following directions for Potions/Transfiguration (which are actually his best classes, though not his favorite - which is DADA, by the way)
Short Roleplay: ((From another HP site.))
"I sat in the chairs in front of the fireplace, though there was no fire this time of year, of course. Actually, I was reading, trying to get over the stress of the first few days at Hogwarts. At home, I had been so sure I wasn't going to get a letter of any sort, so when it happened, I couldn't believe it. I was still getting over the shock that I was actually here - a wizarding school of all places. It was surprising that I had made it into Hufflepuff (though any house would have been surprising to me, because I don't know much about them.) Even as a Hufflepuff, I hoped to make friends from all of the houses, so that I wouldn't have a problem (hopefully) if my house itself was upset with me, if, for some reason, that situation occured. While here, it's time for me to self-actualize, and help others to do the same. I really need to stop listening to Dad about Neurology so often. Of course, while here, I might get over that sort of thing - but I doubted it.
When I flipped a page, I saw someone out of the corner of my eye. Looking up, I saw that they were looking back at me."
