What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Cosette walked into the Leaky Cauldron earlier than she needed to get there really, but she was so used to being early, that she just got herself a table and sat down, waiting for Colton. She and CJ had been best friends for over three years, and school was about to start, so they decided they should at least hang out before the year started and things got crazy, now that she was taking OWLs this year.

I walked into Leaky's and saw Ettie alreayd sitting down.
"You get here early, ma dear." I said. She blushed and I sat down.
"Well, I didn't really need to, but you know me!" What to order, what to order. I opened up the menu and looked at everything. The waiter came over and asked us what we wanted to drink.
"I'll have a butterbeer." I answered, still looking at the menu. I gazed at Cosette while the waiter took her order.

"Oh, Water's just fine." Cosette laughed.
"Go figure." Colton laughed.
"But of course!" Cosette added, and put the menu down. She usually ordered the same thing these days, so she was ready, though Colton mightn't have been. Thus, she waited for the waiter to bring their drinks. "So, how's vacation been?"

"I'll have....the Magical Wizards Burger. With wand sized fries." I told the waiter. "Vacation has been great. I went to Canada for awhile with the family (not really, I've never been to Canad irl). How is your vacation? I haven't seen you since school got out!" It was great to get to be with Ettie again. It feels like I haven't seen her in years.

"Wizard's Soup." Cosette told the waiter after Colton ordered.
He asked about vacation, saying that it had seemed like forever, and it had!
"Yeah, it does." Cosette nodded, and answered his question. "Well, as you may know, Mum is from France, so we visited the family over there in Paris." (Not kidding, I have cousins over there! Very Happy)
She glanced out around the restaurant, and then looked back at him. "So, what classes are you taking? All of them?"

"I would like to." I answered. "Even though it'd be alot on my plate. Herbology and COMC are my favorites. You?" The waiter came about 15mins later, with our food.
"Thank you." We both said, and I awaited her answer.

"Well, I'm good at Herbology, because plants are pretty darn amazing." Cosette laughed. "But COMC scares me. Honestly." She glanced over to see his reaction. She couldn't tell if he was totally okay with it, or if he was laughing on the inside. "My best classes are Potions and History of Magic, though. What are your worst ones?"
The food had arrived, and we were eating while I waited for his answer.

It was cool that she would admit that she didn't like COMC, but I kinda snook a luagh when she wasn't looking.
"DADA and History of Magic. I'm not a big history fan, and I don't really like 'dark arts'." I said between mouthfuls. She laughed shyly. "What are your worst ones?" I asked.

Cosette laughed as his description of his worst classes. "Well, lucky for you, I'm quite good at History of Magic." She teased. "Anyway, my worst ones are - who'd have guessed it - COMC, and anything Divination/Astronomy." She answered. "I'm not even taking those classes this year."
She figured they had pretty much covered that topic, and decided to change the subject.
"So, I've never met your family or anything, but what are they like? I mean, my Mum is a Nurse, Veela, and Dad is Wizard Neurologist." She added, afraid he wouldn't understand the question.

"What part of the military?" She questioned.
"He's now a general in the Navy." I sat up straighter, and wore a girn that stretched to both ears. "I would like to be like him. You know, be great and all?"
