Christy looked up at him a little surprised. She blushed a little, "Sure. I'd like that." she said having never had anyone ask her out before. "When and where would you take me?" she asked curiously not realizing hogsmeade was so close to the school she was going to, and she had no clue where she was except for what country she was in.

"Uh, how bout first Hogsmede weekend?" Varod asked her. "Oh, you must be new, I haven't seen you before. Hogsmede is this little wizard village near Hogwarts that we go to about every few months."

"Wait..." she said looking at him, "They only let you go out every few months?" she asked sounding surprised, "I don't know if I'll like this school, but yes I'm new this year, granted a 6th year but I'm still new here." she said babbling, "I came from Beauxbatons, my mother is the History of Magic Professor there."

"Ah, interesting," Varod replied, leaning back. "Calm down, geez, imagine what we'd look like together. Cold and solemn me and you who bounces everywhere. So many stares," Varod talked seriously but his eyes betrayed the joke he was making.

"Sorry." she said looking at him, "I tend to babble when I get nervous." she said giggling a little. It sounded almost musical, "I guess I'm nervous cause I've never been away from either of my parents ever." she admitted blushing, "I'm such a baby."

"It's fine with me," Varod replied. He hugged her to calm her down. "It's fine, I've never actually done anything outgoing anywhere...well, nothing outgoing when anyone was around..." he muttered, is nighttime heroism coming back to him.

"I think its neat to be spontaneous some of the time." she said smiling. "Makes people who think they know you think that maybe they don't know everything." She blushed as he hugged her, her face a deep cherry red but returned the hug burying her face in his chest to hide the red embarrassed look from him.

Varod let go after telling her he didn't care how she acted around him.
"You can be yourself around me, maybe sometime soon I'll tell you MY secret," he told her.

"You have a secret?" she asked looking at him curiously. "Its kinda hard for me to be myself around you, cause you make me nervous for some reason." She got quiet and moved away from him a bit.
