What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Ok, ideas for start of term dates. (All dates are Mondays, btw)

03rd August - Train Journey starts.
10th August - Train Journey Ends, Hogwarts is opened.
17th August - Great Feast Starts.
24th August - Great Feast Ends, Classes Start.

Ideas? Alterations? I used Monday because, well, it's the first day of the week. Lol. This is just a guide.

Ohh, I'm away on the 15th-22nd. Just fyi. If Darren's not around, someone want to take control of the Headmaster for a bit? Depending on how the Headmaster's plot works (one of you could use him now, tbh, lol).
Any of you going away in August? Or will be inactive for a period of time then?

Maybe you could move it for a week?
Ex:
10th August Train Ride Starts
17th August Train Ride Ends,Hogwarts is opened
24th August Great Feast begins
1st September Great Feast ends,Classes start

So classes can start on 1st as it should be.
I am coming back on 1st August so i'll be here if you need help of me or any of my accounts Jemzy.Just let me know.

BTW Funerals AND Battle MUST finish before Train Ride and Hogwarts opening me thinks.Oh yeah i can open Hogwarts since i saved codes for Hourglass,Dorms etc.

TITLE: START OF TERM
Yup, I've got the dates! Sorry I didn't announce them sooner, but we were trying to think of the best way and with admins on holiday and such it was harder to communicate than usual.
Nevertheless, we have dates!
On August 10th we shall open a topic for the Hogwarts Express. Prefects, patrol the corridors for a bit, everyone else, just enjoy the journey!
On August 17th the train ride shall end. However, Hogwarts will open! You can roleplay anywhere around Hogwarts. Prefects, post in common rooms lots and be active. Quidditch Captains, get your teams ready!
On August 24th the Start of Term Feast shall commence! There will be a subforum in the Main Hall (so normal mealtime topics don't get muddled up with it).
On August 31st the Start of Term Feast shall be finished.
On September 1st Professors shall start their classes (if you start it a day or two late, no worries, you just can't start them before then).

^^Does that announcement post look good? I want to post it tomorrow. If I get no replies, it's going up, as we've already agreed to the dates.

So let me get this streight! You want me to start organizing Quiditch team before term start?Where is the hurry anyway?
Why don't we open just Grounds untill September 1st since students don't usually go to wonder around at the feast.
