Moderator Application ~CLOSED~

ALL CURRENT MODS POST TO SAY YOU WOULD LIKE TO KEEP YOUR POSITION.
Note: Teachers automatically mod their classes. Head of Ministry Departments mod their Department. This isn't changing.
Oh, I'm writing this at like 1am so sorry if anything doesn't make sense. Ask me if you're at all confused by anything, lol xD.
Yeah, this isn't too formal.
Applications open throughout July.

Mod Jobs:
- Be active! You need to be able to roleplay lots on top of anything else. This is really important.
- At least your main account should be active daily. It would be nice if any others were too.
- Be friendly. Greet new members, roleplay with new members. Don't only roleplay with a select group of people. Talk to everyone. Talk in OOC threads. Etc. etc.
- "Delete" (send to basket) topics that are older than a month/are finished. Unless we turn on auto-prune, but you'll still have to "delete" completed topics.
- Make sure all mature threads are marked. And that they don't go above PG13.
- Make sure nothing gets out of hand OOC.
- Start lots of topics IC and OOC. Keeping the forum active =))
- Talk in the chatbox! All part of being friendly =))
- Throw around ideas, etc. with the admins. All members make suggestions, discuss things with admins, etc.

Organisation:
Yeah, we haven't been too good on this in the past, admitedly. I'm trying to change this though. I'm going to guess we'll hire around 3/4 mods, though that could change, honestly.
What the mods will do is have power over moderate the entire forum. Yes, the whole thing. Each mod will focus on one catagory more, but they will be able to mod all sections, so if someone wants to delete a thread you can contact any mod. If that makes sense.
There might be a head mod, they might all work together. I think it's best to start with them all equal, then choosing a 'head mod' if we think it's best (we = admins & mods).

I think that I would make a good moderator I am active, and willing to put the time in to do the job. I like role playing and getting to know new and old characters and I am happy to help new people to the site whether it be giving advice about how to start off or if someone needs to intervene if there is a problem in a post etc.
