Brandon arrived at the Hogwarts grounds wearing some muggle clothing that he picked out. He sighed as he held the map in both his hands and a note explaing the map under it on his right hand. He graoned as he realized this place was the size of three skyscraps on top of each other. He pocketed the papers and kept his duffel bag on his shoulders. He swore in his mind that he would at least try to find the bathroom in this place.

Daniel walked down to the lake, as he normal daily walking routine to help him get some exercise. It seems these day he is too busy studying or being interrupted by friends and new kids so he is never able to find the time to get some exercise. He looked down at the ground looking at where he was going and bumped into another kid causing both of them to lose balance, he seem to look lost and annoyed at the same time. "Oh, i am so sorry. Are you alright. I didn't mean to," he said to him once he had caught his balance - he wore a brown plaid shirt, grey beanie and black jeans.

Since Brandon was already walking. he lost his balance and tripped over his ankle. He fell down forward and landed hard oh his hands. There was a lot of pressure and he heard his wrists pop. "SUNAVA!" he said then caught himself. He went on his knees and looked at his hands. They wern't bleeding. Just muddy. He got up and saw his duffel bag was overturned. Still zipped. He turnd around to the source and looked at him. He noticed something in his stance. "Oh it's alright," he said calmly and brushed dirt of his torso and pants.

Daniel winched at the sound of his wrist popping. He never liked that sound and helped the new kid up onto his feet helping him brush the dirt from his shirt, he looked up at the new kid, his expression worried. "Are you sure, do you need to go to the hospital wing" he asked him, looking at the kid suspiciously. He notice that the kid was new to the school, he could tell by the map that was laying on the ground showing where everything was on the map.

I'm fine," he said calmly gently moving his wrist up and down. "Just a thing that happens if I land on them. Nothing painful." He grabbed his bag and the shouldered it. "So uh who are you?"

Daniel felt a little relief that the new kid was alright but still felt guilty for being so clumsy to the kid. He frowned when he realized that he hadn't introduce himself yet and raised his eyes at Brandon inhaling deeply then smiled as warm as he could muster, holding out his hand to shake his hand. "I'm sorry so rude of me. Daniel M. Valantine, Gryffindor Prefect..." he paused waiting for him to shake his hand. "And fourth year" he added quickly.

"Brandon Thompson," he said calmly and shook his hand. He hoped he still didn't have dirt on his hand. "My brother went here a months ago so I parents thought this would be a good place to send me."

Daniel looked at Brandon for a moment then smiled politely at the boy as he shook his hand tightly then dropped his hand. He heard him mention that his brother went here a months ago and his parent thought this was a good place to send him. "Ah, yes. Danny Thompson a brave kid, too bad i never got to meet him." Daniel told him, complimenting Brandon's brother - he remembered seeing a qudditch trophies in the Trophy and Armory room once before along with his teammate who won the tournament and held people mention good things about the boy

"Yeah, kidnapped though," he said shrugging "anyway what is there about this school? I hear it just end for this year?"

Daniel was taken aback as the boy asked him about the school. He considered on the question for a moment, biting the bottom of his lips to help him think what was it about this school. "Um..." he said, suddenly just to make sure that Brandon didn't think he had zoned off. He shut one eye and scratched the back of his ears and neck then shrugged his shoulders deciding to give it a try. "Well, it a wonderful school. Everyone is nice and helpful. The school has load of fun activities to do and yeah it is the end for this year, everyone is getting excited about the holiday," he told the boy just hoping that he had said the right thing to satisfy the boy enough that this would be a great school for him.
