Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Hello, this is Karrit Gold. I will be your Charms teacher next term, and decided to assign some optional work for House Points depending on quality. These are due when next term starts.

-- The first is a 200 - 500 word essay (approximately, I'm not going to count or anything) on the usefulness of Charms in an everyday and in a battle environment.

-- The second is a list of spells any students would be interested in studying next term. You can take these from the Harry Potter books, form fansites, or wherever. Each student give a max of 5, and include what class you'll be taking so I know which curriculum to incorporate it into.

-- The last assignment is to make up a spell of your own. I'll give House Points according to linguistic accuracy, creativity of the spell, and usefulness of it in an everyday or battle situation.

Thanks! You can turn it in early if you like, but it's due the first day and second day back after next term starts. Have good holidays!

PM me the homework when you're done.
