So who killed Ariana Dumbledore ?

It was both of them... Ariana got in the way of Dumbledore and that other guy... didnt like the fighting and she got zapped.

Grindelwald feared that it was his fault. This fact may be used to prove that it was indeed Grindelwald. However, this point is rendered moot by his death. The fact remains that Ariana died due to a disagreement between Aberforth, Albus and Gellert. It could be that Ariana's death was caused by an over-powering surge of emotional/raw energy from within herself. As Aberforth put it "You can't hold [magic] in... not that long." (that was paraphrasing btw)

In a sense, Ariana's death was caused by all three of them- the amount of pressure that was placed on her was simply too much.

Yeah, but she was hit with a curse so the question is... who's curse was it? I think it was Dumbledore.... he was the one feeling guilty. Grindelwald probably only left because he knew people would assume it was him what with his bad past and all.

Well Grindewald couldn't read remember! So if they had posted it in the papers he wouldnn't have known! Plus if he cant read he's probably not that smart. He left cause he really just didn't like his brother and his dead sister in my opinion. Dumbledore feels guilty cause he just thinks he did it!
