May update

As all you admins should know, we have to update PA at the end of April till the 2nd May. That gives us 3 days to finish many things. Since were not all on at the same time, I'll put on a list of things us admins have to do. Once a task is finished you post here that you have done it. Firstly, however I have to explain what will happen. Tommorow I will put the site on maintenance for 1-3 days. In this time we try to fix it as much as possible. Since this will be in weekends we should get considerable amount of work done. Once were finished, we release the newsletter and quibbler informing everyone of the updates.

May is an exam month. All students must submit their exams to the teachers and more importantly all teachers must make exams. Some teachers arent here unfortunately, so I will make exams for them. I need an admin to see who did their exams and who didn't by PMing the teachers.

The tasks to do are:

GRAPHICS - we need to change the rather unpopular theme. Luckily Sue made a temporary theme for us before she left that we can build on. Though you can make a separate temporary theme if you want.
Layout - Tweak the layout around to see how it looks the best
Modules - some of the links are getting old again, replace them
Welcome Letter - Change the welcome letter to explain more about the site!
Guide - Replace old links with new ones
Dead Threads - Remove all dead threads from RP areas! not non-Rp ones though.
Discussion topics - Creat some discussion topics for members to talk in
Diagon Alley - This is to remake Diagon Alley and add the 'points' format. The points basically take place of money. And plus the vaults change as well.
Classes - The classes are to be locked and sent to Pensieve. Each teacher has to be PMed and told that they have to make exams.
Exams - Add a forum for exams at the great hall. All exams will be held here. Also, explainn to all students about the exams
Quibbler - complete the quibbler.
RP topics- Make some good new topics for people to RP at. The main one is the battle for hogwarts.
Anything else - I might have missed some stuff. And if you have any ideas that wouldn't be too bad either..

I PMed you with the quibbler. All that is left is the part you said you were doing.

You said that you would handle all OOC so that it wouldn't get confused with IC. And the Quibbler is actually 4 pages long. 2 with articles and I did good to get those, since hardly anyone gave me anything to add IC. 1 page is IC announcements (ie. birth, death) and then a page of ads. Hopefully when people see it next time will actually submit ideas for it.

I already cleaned RP from inactive topics Darren so you can scratch that one.

Diaggon Alley could be one of my tasks if you like?And I can lock classes too if needed.And anything else that is needed (ofcourse if it doesn;t include some high level graphics lol!)

Mari, I think I'll do Diagon Alley a bit, and then make one example for how shops look like and then you can do the rest. Graphics, unfortunately, since Zoe and you arent willing to them, I guess I'll do that. Unless Jemma can come...

Question about Sue's theme. Is it the one called Attempt?
'Cause could I just kinda merge her & mine together to make one. It will be like blue/grey/white etc. though if that's ok. yes, a light theme for once =O. Still, people might like it.

Ooooor we could just go back to the old theme because everyone loves it.

naa you do alot. Or you used to. But it doesnt matter, and sure you can merge it, I doubt she'll complete it anytime soon since she's dead.
