Davina mentally calmed herself down. Ok, maybe this girl was nice. Maybe she was just like her. Maybe she liked the peace and quiet in the corner. This still didn't tell her where she should sit. The next best place in the room would be next to the girl. Would the girl feel uncomfortable if she sat next to her though? Actually, Davina thought to herself, she would feel uncomfortable going and sitting next to the girl. Maybe she could sit opposite the girl? That had a good view of the room, and it was next to the heater. Yes, that would be a good idea, she thought to herself.
Davina slowly walked over to the table the girl was sitting at and took the seat opposite her. She forgot to introduce herself, she just straight away got out her books from her bag. It was after she had done this when she realised she probably should have introduced herself.
"Hi, I'm Davina," she simply said, smiling at the girl. It was about all she could do, really. She was no good at starting conversations, she relied on other people to start them most of the time.
