um i'm not to sure about the whole thing but here goes:

Other distinguishing features: Loud laugh, blue-grey eyes that seem to be indecisive as to whether they are blue OR grey..

Personality: Always quick to defend a friend, adventurous and curious which usually leads to trouble
along with concern which also can be mistaken for being nosy..
People say i'm very sweet and pretty, although i think my looks are just, you know, O.K.
i love to run and i don't have many friends although i hope this year will be diiferent. ( the reason i don't have many friends --i think-- is because i'm not a very outgoing person, it always takes time for me to warm up to people)
Oh, I don't have any siblings at Hogwarts.


Skills: Running and going to impossibly high heights reaaaaally fast without flinching or anything. So i plan to be on the Quidditch team in hogwarts!

Weaknesses: kind of nosy (okay, pretty nosy) and sometimes over optimistic although not giggly. I tend to fall asleep in class alot too. and i just can't stop to be eating chocolate!!

Family Information: mom and dad are pure blood,mom is arrested (falsely accused) in Hungary and in their 40s.
I have a few cousins, but they go to wizarding school in America. At first i was jealous, but then mom told me they go there because American wizarding schools standards are low. So, hah!
Background: I come from a long line of pure blood wizards and witches in our family who were living in Australia during the rise of the Dark Lord, so we weren't recruited. Although we are pure blood we are treated as slight blood traitors, although it's not as bad [as blood traitors] because we have money. But even though we have money, we don't spend frivolously because dad wants to teach me to be a "responsible person" and not go bankrupt like his sister did. Slowly but surely, Pure- bloods are accepting us.... it's only a matter of time.

Nice application, just one thing you might want to fix:

Background - you have to write something there. Just a short history of your character

Also, if you want to be in Slytherin you might want to say if your parents are squibs or something as Slytherins generally aren't muggle-borns. (As your cousins are wizards then one of your parents should be a squib anyway, someone with wizard parents but not a wizard.)

Serena, I've merged the two posts into one so it's easier for everyone to look at.
Ok, it's good. A SHORT roleplay would be nice, that's why it's there. Just something small, as it's 1) good practise for RP'ing & 2) so we knew you can RP. It only has to be like a paragraph or something, not too much.
After that you'll be accepted =))

Billie made her way through the crowded masses of Diagon Alley,
She was feeling good being trusted to walk around by herself, let alone a crowded area!
Billie sighed. She had lived a pretty sheltered life, ever since her mom went to prison,
--which was when she was 4-- so it was pretty much all her life.
Glancing forward from some old lady trying to sell her a necklace, Billie noticed her father waiting for her
by the entrance of Gringotts. (sp?) "Hi daddy!" she yelled. Mr. Granger glanced up confused for a second,
then broke out in a smile at the sight of his daughter rushing up to him....

i like to think that either it's common, so it doesn't mean anything.. OR one of Hermione's descendants married into the pure-bloods... wich do you think is better? Or should i just be all like, "whatever"..

I'd say just that it's a common surname, really. Either way, just say you're not closely related to any canon pure-blood families.
Also, can I change your username to Billie Granger as it's confusing if people use screen names on here.
