Keiran and Kenna realized that the cost of taking care of the Hogwarts Express and ensuring safety for students during the school year would absolutely devastate his budget. He couldn't afford that as well as supplies for new students without enough money to pay on their own. So they've organized an event that everybody in the Wizarding World is probably excited about.
After all, they've probably heard about the DISASTROUS Quidditch House Cup game that took place during Keiran's seventh year. Both teams were all over the place, and the most impressive Slytherin and Gryffindor teams in years? They barely managed to put up a fight on either side. Slytherin eeked out a win (don't ask them how, they probably don't remember). So when they hear that players from those two teams will be joining the fray with the Falmouth Falcons and other influential members of Hogwarts Staff and Wizarding Society? You gotta bet they'll show up.
Here's how it's gonna work! You can have ONE character on each team if you can come up with a reason for them to do so. You DO NOT have to know everything about Quidditch to participate. Even if you never post in a game thread, you can use this for plotting. Your character is doing a good thing. Is that surprising? Do people not realize they like to play?
The Falcons would need people who have tried out recently or are filling in for someone for the match. The Hogwarts team would require that someone on the staff is friends with them and would have invited them. Folks with Ministry jobs or influential families would be awesome, but they want to raise as much money as they can, so let us know if you're interested! GRADUATES ONLY.
Students are welcome to open up booths for food or merchandise or whatever they want to as long as proceeds go to the school and the tent is approved by Keiran and Selwyn. (Presuming your character isn't selling anything illegal or dangerous, and they aren't stealing the money, you can go ahead and assume they were approved.) Post below what kind of sale you want your students to have so we can keep track and people can plot with you!
