Changes

Well I've decided to change/repair/reorganize/remake (whatever) the site again, as its kind of falling into a state of a spam board yet again. So I'm going to change it a bit tommorow, all by myself of course.. again. As all the admins are away or just busy as always..

Some of the thigns to change are:

Well Firstly, I think we need another admin. We have 5 bloody admins but still can't seem to get all the work done. Why? Three guesses. So I'm going to promote someone within the next week. I'll choose for myself or just have a vote or something.

Secondly, I've noticed we haven't been getting many new members. The reason for this is we've stopped advertising and PA isn't very welcoming either. I don't blame anyone for thatt, but can you all PLEASE vote at the HP ranklists everyday at least? I've noticed everyone has stopped voting. We've gotten loads of new members from that so can you all just vote once everytime you log on? Its not really difficult. Also, PA is quite inactive and confusing for newcomers, the links are broken, the layout confuses people. So I'm going to change the layout again slightly, and add some stuff which will hopefully make it easier for new members..

Hogwarts students will be sorted into grades now. Before it was all kinda mixed up. One Hogwarts year will be equivalent to 10 weeks. With 1 week equivalent to a month.

The graphics are another thing which we should fix, but unfortunately I can't do that. There getting old, boring and odd. So If anyone could make a banner or something else it would be very helpful..

Also, can you all PLEASE start reading the announcements, I know some of you -some times, most of you - don't - I won't give names, but they know who they are.. - and that just pisses me off. I created a Notice Board module for all those too lazy to go check the Daily Prophet. And I'll probably start writing the newsletters again as well.

Lastly, Y'all NEED to start RPing realistically. Telepathy, super strong magic spells, unrealistic dueling, need to go away. So should Eragon, Twilight, Halo and all that nonsense. Its a Harry Potter board, so don't confuse it. And I think its time we ended short one-liner posts, they're just annoying. Its OK if we have them sometimes, but at least try to make them longer. There are so much things to write in a RP post. Non HP things such as the Non-Hp rp section will be deleted. As will the Clubs section.

I'll probably change other things if they come to mind.. Another thing, I know lots of members will have criticisms for me as soon as they read this, but keep it in cause I'm in a bad mood these days and am Likely to suspend you =)

However... most sites require that you put their affiliation button somewhere on your site in order to advertise. Do we have an area for this? Sorry if I'm just missing it

We need a change!! I mean no offense but, we need different Prefects now, different HoH and different head of DA or OOtP!! I mean its soo unfair jess you get to be MANY MANY things, let someone have a chance....

Excuse me. I am OoTP leader, and Gryffindor Prefect. That's it. How dare you tell me i have too much. Seriously Nikki, the Gryffindor HoH is fine, the Ravenclaw HoH is fine, the Hufflepuff HoH is fine, and the Slytherin HoH is fine. The prefects for Gryffindor are fine, the DA JUST got a new leader about 3 days ago, the Ravenclaw Prefects are fine, the Hufflepuff Prefects are fine, and maybe one of the Slytherin Prefescts are fine. I haven't heard any complaints about my leadership for the OoTP before you.
And we have enough admins atm, because we have enough to get what we need done, done.
