Whispers in the future

Brant pushed open the door to the tavern it was a normal muggle tavern, he'd chosen this place becuse it felt right to him and it was close to where he needed to be. Moving to a booth he sat down slipping off his black leather jacket and placed it on the chair beside him. He ordered some tea, green tea as it had become his favorate with his travels. Reatching up he brushed some of his now longer dark hair off his face as he looked around hoping who he was waiting for would turn up as he hadn't seen her in days and wanted to explain why he'd not contacted her or Owled her while he had been away.

The waitress placed down his tea and with a smile turned back to the bar. Slowly he pored out a cup leaving one cup empty infront of him his eyes looking t the light green warm tea that swirled in the small white cup he now held gently a small scar sat on the back of his left hand, slightly red still it stood out.

Chocola had been busy at her work at times but then again she had begun to wonder why there has been no word from the man who she actually loved. She really did love him. So not hearing from him for awhile was hard even for her. She had never missed someone so much for sure.

She had walked in some muggle tavern. She didn't mind the place really. Being muggle born then this place was actually to her familiar. She wondered why she is even here at first but she soon remembers it was because of this one male. She looked around the place and did soon spot him. He walked over there with a small smile on her face. Even seeing him even if she was bit mad at him still could bring a smile on her face.

"Hey, It has been for awhile," she said. Trying to get his attention basically away from that tea cup towards her.

Brant looked up on hearing her voice his lips curled into a smile and he stood up motioning to her to sit in the space opasite him. "It has Chocola, and I owe you an explination as to why." He said sitting only once she had sat down. He wanted to reach out and hold her hand to reasure himself she was actualy sat infront of him and he was not dreaming it. Before he spoke again he took a deep breath

"Things in my work got complicated, very complicated." leaning forward he picked up the delicate china cup and placed it in front of her his head kept down as he then picked up the tea pot turning it gently he then pored out the tea wiping the spout with a cloth as he had been shown to do and placed it back on the tray. " But I have been moved to a diferent department that is.. shall we say, stable, no more disapearing with out notice." He sat back holding his own cup in the palm of his hands. " I missed you, every day I couldn't see you was like a night mare, but I'll understand if you want to move on." His voice now shaky and his chest hurting as he hoped she would not push him away but alow him back into her heart.

Chocola smiled and listened what Brant said there to her. Well, she had been a bit of busy herself too but not that busy like him. She was still kind of mad at him but she was sure that she still liked him for sure more than she has liked anyone else before.

"Okay. Complicated isn't good. I know that" she said and sighed. She tried to gather her all thoughts there now. She needed to say something there now. "That's good that you have now more stable work," she added there simply.

"Well, I did miss you too for sure. Not hearing from you anything for awhile I could say was yes nightmare," she said. She was mad but she decided to not to became to scream or make scene in here at the public. "I haven't really moved one and I don't plan too," she added. She really wasn't exactly sure how to talk about these feelings she had for him.

"I won't leave you because of this but don't ever do it again," Chocola said and she was serious about it. She wasn't exactly sure what she will do if he leaves without notice again.

Brant heard her words and smiled nodding as she told him never to leave again " I won't, Ever again, Im based souly in the ministry now and have a new apartment too, um..its big enough for two, thats if you want to?" He said hoping she would understand he was offering her not just his heart but to live with him in his..no their home. He tentitivly reached out his hand and placed it lightly over hers holding it gently.

"You'd have a safe place to stay when your working, and I will cook meals." he sighed as he continued " I guess what Im saying is I don't want to miss one day with out you and so am aksing if you'd move in with me?" he looked up at her " there are two bedrooms if you wanted your own room, I want you to know just how much I Love you Chocola, I'd even go and ask your perants if thats what you wanted me to do." His heart beat hard and fast in his chest as he got out all he felt for her.

Chocola listened what Brant said there now and she was a bit of shocked what he had just said. She didn't really expect to move in with him yet. She looked with wide eyes at him and tried to think there about all this. She needed to think about this.

"It's good to hear that you won't leave me again like this," she finally managed to say something after few minutes of silence. She really wasn't sure about moving in with him. She wasn't sure if she was ready for that step.

"Well, my mother had noticed that I haven't been in few days myself anymore. So I had to tell that I have someone I love. Even if she doesn't really believe me still. Because well she doesn't believe things she can't see with her own eyes," she said there and sighed. "So I guess it would be nice if you meet them. But I can assure you that there will be many questions. Some may be even very personal ones," she added with a small smile.

"Oh and about moving in with you seems interesting idea but not sure if I'm ready for that step yet. So can I take few days for thinking about it before I say yes or no?" She really wasn't sure what she should say yes or no yet.

Brant sat and listened to her his heart skipped as sahe said she actually said she loved him. As she continued he could not faulter her logic and nodded still holdling onto her hand as he listened more.

"Well then I should meet them then and awnser all their questions" he said softly with a smile to her. " I have nothing to hide and yes I guess it is sudden but Im willing to wait for you and your awnser." He told her not wanting to let go of her hand. "When would you want me to meet them?" he asked taking a sip of his tea. "Im free any time you wish." he could not help but chuckle "Im owed a lot of holidays and sick days so its not a problem."

Nervous though he was at the thought of meeting her perants he would do it becuse he loved her, and could not see himself with out her.

Chocola didn't even realise she said, love until it was already too late to take back. Actually, it was true she did love him for sure. She did listen what Brant said there and thought before he began to answer.

"Well up to you. Just it never ended up good way with my sister when she did bring boys over," she said and sighed. She really remembers how her sister was hard broken after that. Her parents seemed to chase away her sister all boyfriends. She hoped it won't happen with her. "Okay good. I will give an answer once I have thought about it. Won't take very many days," she said with a small smile. Moving in together was a big step, so it should be taken lightly. "Let me first as from my parents when they are free but I think this coming Friday will be good enough. Since I know then they are home and mother wants to do this family dinner," she said and sighed. She really didn't like the idea of the family dinner.

But then again when Brant is there maybe her mother finally will stop her nagging about finding the boyfriend when she basically had one. Also, they could see that she was serious about him and so was him.

Brant nodded and smiled agreeing with her "Maybe I should bring some Miso soup or tsukemono with me." He says, noticing her cup was empty he refilled it then his own and takes a sip. "Do your perants have any intrests, does he have a garden, or grow plants?" He asked hoping to have something in common to talk to them about.

He'd heard about her sisters preducaments with boyfreinds but he was going to show he could be respectful of her perants and was serious about Chocola. At her words he got the feeling it would be more her mother he had to impress rather than her father. Now he started to make mental notes about what to do and what he realy should avoid doing around them.

Chocola thought there a bit before she answered. "No, you don't need to bring those things really," she said there with a small smile. He didn't really need to bring anything with her. "Well, we have garden yes in out backyard. Well, and there is few flowers growing for sure. Not sure what flowers. Mostly my mother takes care of it when she can. Well, and my father is a lawyer. So yeah he isn't much of the time at home lately," she said and wondered if it was any helpful really. She wasn't really sure what her parent's hobbies were lately.

Well, father always seems to be more accepting things but yeah mother was one who asked always so many questions. Father didn't judge people so much as how they looked like or then asked many questions. Since he did trust his own kids enough. Even with Chocola, it could be another way since she did spend many years travelling.
