An relaxing weekend to myself

It been a long week, Nate was relieved that it was finally the weekend at last which meant one thing freedom! Keeping his promise like she always did to his parents, Nate was home for the weekend liked promise. Tired after a long day, Nate decided to head to the Leaky Cauldron for some butterbeer to calm his nerves. Who would of thought for a twenty five year old guy have stress? apparently Nate did over his family and basically anything in life! Pushing open the door he walked into the dim lit pub and headed towards the bar. "May I have a butterbeer please?" Nate asked the man as he nodded and got him a butterbeer. Setting it down in front of him, Nate paid for the butterbeer and took a drink of it and sighed.

He wondered how a firewhiskey would taste, he wasn't much of a drinker but it been a long week. Maybe just maybe it would calm his nerves and relax his into a calm state. He honestly didn't know, but his parents had it all the time when they were stress and it seemed to relax them. Taking a seat in the booth next to him Nate seen a bunch of drunk guys on the floor which made him roll his eyes at them. Finishing his butterbeer, he ordered himself a firewhiskey to calm his nerves, the burning in his throat calmed him.

Nate wondered how his cousin Maura was, last he saw her was at her birthday party. He wondered how things with her and Ryo went, he hoped they went good actually really good, he knew how Mich Maura liked Ryo. Nate just hoped that he didn't get hurt like Ethan did to her, he knew how badly he hurt Maura, he know hates the prick because of it. Sighing to himself, he took a drink of his firewhiskey calming him the more he drunk it, if this was all he needed why didn't he do it sooner? He wasn't a drinker by any means, but it sure was calming and relaxing to him.

Imogen was literally freaking out.
Her life was supposed to be easy, that is why she was working like the bloody model instead of some job in Ministry like her family always wanted her to do.
They used to say that models are stupid, that the only thing which is paying their bills are their pretty face and now, Imogen became just like them.
Of course, she knew better than that but she was really tired of listening to the same story over and over again.

And now, just when she thought she could live peacefully Katrien decided to come back once again and she tried to do what? Lie to her husband, once again.
She came with freaking amnesia, or at least that was what they told Alejandro and of course Imogen was the one who was doing dirty jobs like stealing keys and stuff like that.

So she decided that she really needs to relax and perhaps try to live her own life.
She was more than happy because it was finally the weekend. Despite the things her family though the job as a model was, she was tired as hell. That is why she came to The Leaky Cauldron.
To relax.

Unwelcomed thought found its way to her minds. The last time she was here she was drunk and slept with her brother in law. One million dollars worth mistake. This time, she will be smarter than that.
That is why she found her way to the bar and sat on the only free chair next to one guy.

"One mojito please" Imogen was more than happy because this lame place finally decided to start offering Muggle's drinks. Cocktails are probably the best thing ever anyway.

Who would of thought that drinking would make you so relax and calm?  Obviously Nate didn't know, but then again he didn't drink much and didn't like the taste of most liquor and he hated the taste of tequila.  Besides who drunk that stuff anyways?  It tasted horrible and made people act stupid, not like all the rest didn't either but that was besides the point.  The proof obviously was in front of him with all the guys drunk and acting stupid, one of the reasons why Nate didn't drink.  Ok... it didn't mean that Nate never drunk before, he was more of a muggle drinker but he hasn't drunk anything in awhile.


Nate was tired of the family drama, just like his cousin Maura he was stuck into the whole marrying loop as well.  He was stuck in arranged marriage with a girl that he didn't like,  if he could prove to his parents he could find love without their help he could marry whoever he wishes.  Got to love parents don't you? Unlike Maura he hated that he was stuck in a arranged marriage, but now he wasn't which was something he was greatly relieved about.  He didn't want to be with someone he didn't like or love, he wanted to be happy like his parents and his Aunt and Uncle.


No longer wanting the firewhiskey, he pushed it away, although it calmed him it left a nasty taste in his mouth he didn't like.  "Ugh...why in the hell did I taste that? it tasted horrible!" said Nate wiping his mouth.  "Anything worth trying that doesn't taste absolutely disgusting?"Nate asked the bartender looking at the menu.  Oh... they had muggle drinks why didn't see that sooner?  Ok...maybe he'll give this place another chance on the drinks, it was worth a shot.

Nate looked over at the woman drinking a cocktail, as always Nate thought it was such a girly drink for girls.  It was just too amusing to him, he rarely seen guys drink cocktails it was mainly girls.  "A cocktail?! that's such a girly drink!"said Nate.  "Some Bourbon if you will."said Nate.  The glass set in front of him, Nate took a drink ah...that was the stuff true whiskey instead of that firewhiskey he tried, sometimes muggles just did things better at times.  Muggles were good at a lot of things, and making good whiskey was one of them in his opinion.

It took few moments for Imogen to realize that guy next to her said something about cocktails. Girly drink? Such a stereotype. Imogen drunk a lot of the coctails and she knew probably better than anyone that even some men couldn't bear some of them. Some of the cocktails were made from few different sorts of alcohol and she was really close to point out that fact but instead of that, she looked at him with one million dollars smile written all over her face.

"Don't tell me you are one of those men who thinks that whiskey is the only proper drink for the man." She asked curiously while looking into his eyes.She took one sip of her drink and then looked at the bartender.
She was holding menu in her hands but she didn't look at it at all, she already knew what she wants. The good thing about working with silly Muggles was the fact you get the chance to meet them and their culture, which means she is the one who knows everything about Muggle's strongest drinks, including cocktails.

"I think my friend here, what is your name again?" She looked at Nate even if she was sure he didn't say his name.
"Never mind, my friend would like to try the cocktail. Please make something good for him. Maybe Tequila Sunrise? But instead Tequila, please use Bacardi 151" she smiled once again curious to see how this guy would react when he try something with 75 percent of alcohol.

"It's on me," she said to Nate and immediately paid his drink.

Nate laughed, was this girl being serious? He was big on muggle drinks like it was nothing.  If she was trying to intimidate him it wasn't working by any means.  Nate laughed. "Nah... probably my choice in drinks, all of the others don't taste as good to me."said Nate simply shrugging.  He wasn't big on wizarding drinks, but muggle drinks that was a different story, he can drink up muggle drinks.  Besides muggle drinks were better in his opinion anyways,  one of the few things muggles were actually better at then wizards were for once.


Nate smirked at her when she ordered him a drink with Barcardi 151 in it.  "Ooh...now the hard stuff, now we're talking!"said Nate.   "The name is Nathaniel but I alot of people call me Nate and what would your name be  my dear friend?"Nate asked her smirking. The drink set in front of them, Nate looked at her.  "Cheers!" said Nate taking a drink of it.   "By the way, thanks for the drink should I return the favor in return?"  Nate asked her smirking taking another drink. "Got to give it to you miss, you know your drinks, and you know them well."said Nate.

"Do you drink things like bone dry martini?" Nate asked her curious if she drank that heavily.   It was a bit more alcohol then what he was having now.   It was 80% alcohol and was a bit more stronger, but very popular by many people evdb if it was a old fashioned drink. Although Nate didn't drink stuff like that, he was into the good stuff and the expensive stuff, although he wasn't a fan of scotch on the rocks that was just too nasty and had a wooden taste he didn't like.  He never understood why his dad drunk that stuff, but people had different taste buds.

"I am Imogen" she looked at him.
"It's really nice to meet you Nathaniel" she used his full name because, to be honest, she though its prettier than his nickname. He has the really nice name, so why not use it? Imogen took another sip of her cocktail and then looked at him again.
"Cheers" she smiled and then when she heard his question, Imogen Blackburn shook her head while smirk was playing on her face.

"Not now, Nathaniel. You can buy me drink next time when we see each other." She paused and then started to speak again while playing with her glass.
"On that way, you will have an excuse to see me again" Imogen winked and bit her lip.

"Let's say I grow up in the big family where everyone appreciates the good drink. One of my sisters really likes wines, and my brother enjoys in hard drinks" she smiled while speaking of her family. Imogen really appreciates family, family means everything to her so while she was saying about them, her smile became even bigger.

"I do, but I prefer mojito now. Last time when I got drunk here, my sister wanted to curse me. Or to kill me, I am not sure yet" she shook her head and frowned while remembering all that drama about one night stand with James she had. Katrien was really angry and Imogen thought she could feel really lucky because she was still breathing.
