Barnaby is 25 and comes from a French family but grew up in England. He has a South London accent, but he can turn up the posh meter when he deems it helpful. He's a Muggle, curates (runs) a museum in this fictional version of Rottingdean. Although, actually, that area is quite cool and really does have a history of piracy. I've done my research ;D
He doesn't really go by nicknames or use them. As a fun fact. But OOC you can call him whatever as long as I understand you mean him. XD (Just ask Alyssa!)
BUT ANYWAY. Anyone who knows Frank, Mai or Phaedra will probably know him. By extension, that opens plotting for anyone who knows Kit, Mes or Luke (and NPC) Avery.
I'm going to let him get in over his head and find out about magic because his help is needed to break into a vault and return Phaedra's money to her since it's being held hostage, and from there I don't really see him leaving.

- an intellectual rival, perhaps, to keep him on his toes
