Introducing Kenna McBain

This is Kenna. She's adorable and I hate her for what she's done to me. Quick facts. She's 24, a former Gryffindor who comes off very Hufflepuff unless she's given a reason to pull out her loud Scottish genes. Her brother Rory owns the bar she manages, the Ugly Pigeon, which was actually her grandfather's first pub. She's done some lawyer work in a pinch because she used to date a lawyer and... guess that's better than nothing, eh?

Kenna's grandmother has convinced the girl that she is destined to leave behind a big legacy, which has sort of given Kenna a false sense of peace and confidence. She's remarkably comfortable in her own skin, though she's surrounded by mini-geniuses (her brother and his friends, now her own) so she's also well aware of her own shortcomings.

She used to be Quidditch commentator and loves sports of all kinds. Kip Parsons is one of her closest friends. She's toying with the idea of becoming a substitute at Hogwarts - I have a HC of how to convince her she'd be at all helpful, but also wouldn't mind roleplaying that out either.

The Ugly Pigeon serves muggles and wizards - a pair of kitchen-like double doors lead to the wizarding side. It's kind of a classic rowdy pub, with lots of regulars, so if your character is looking for somewhere a little rowdier than the Leaky, less family-friendly than the Three Broomsticks, more populated than The Hog's Head, and less insidious than Satan's, then The Ugly Pigeon is for you!

She and Frank are only a year apart. And she probably knows him, at least a little, because of KW.

She's gooootta know Mai. Also close in age, and with Kenna having done some lawyer-y type work, she's probably bugged Mai for help before.

She and Maude are just super compatible personality types, I think. Maybe Maude has a weekly night at the bar and confides in Kenna about Henry?

And like idk um just thinking maybe something with Kev but like yeah idk. XP

Frank could've suggested Mai, in that case. They're bros.

Maude probably does. She goes out to eat with Gil every other week so maybe they go to her pub but sometimes she comes in on her own and they chat?

I mean, maybe. Like, it isn't like he he'll suggest she work at Hogwarts or anything. But maybe after the round table thing someone from the KW is saying how dreadful he is (because he totally will be now btw) and she decides to check it out? I dunno if she would, but that's an option.

What if after the round table Kip insists they all go drink at the ugly pigeon and he mentions to Kenna that Kev needs help. So while they all get shots she goes over to play the cheer-up bartender.

Rofl that works! I'll add that to my list to get done. I don't have class tomorrow because of real life magic so I've got all day to write, write, write!
